Ciao Cafe & Cakes Bar And pizzeria Braddon

I had a baby shower yesterday and requested for a cake to be made 4 days prior to the event (unintentionally, last minute). Not only did they achieve making my cake in such a short amount of time but they made my baby shower cake to the exact specifications that I had requested. The cake was beautiful, delicious and absolutely perfect. I cannot praise this bakery enough! To be able to pull off such an amazing cake in such a short amount of time, I am beyond grateful and pleasantly surprised. The staff were phenomenal and super helpful! I will definitely be purchasing all my event cakes here in future and continue to recommend this spectacular bakery to all of my friends and family. Desperately wanted to give 5 stars. Very nice atmosphere. Not too loud although full of kids at 10 am. Great food and mouthwatering displays. Would love to come again to give another chance. Unfortunately you forgot about pancakes for the kid. I wouldn't even minded if it was my food. I had to remind you. Pancakes arrived 15 minutes later. Explanation was given only after I've asked for one. Apparently your kitchen "forgot about pancakes". No apologies offered. No questions like "do you still need them" were asked before making 5 people who already finished eating wait for pancakes for kid to be cooked from scratch. We were late to another place. Not good.

Ordered the tiramisu cake for a birthday party, it was amazing and everyone loved it. Not too sweet, good amount of rum and delicious. Would love to give 5 stars if not for communication between staffs. When i placed my order to be collected on Sunday, no one told me they close at 5pm. They agreed to the stipulated time of 445-5pm. On the collection day, a staff called me at 430 asking if i can come ASAP as they’re already closed. I had to rush down in peak hour and i was very thankful to the staff lady who waited for me. Communication between customers and staff ought to be better but will definitely be ordering cakes from Ciao again. Good job

Ordered a custom cake from Ciao for an Indian event. It was a vanilla sponge with pineapple flavoured fresh cream, which whilst very popular in India, is very difficult to get in Canberra, let alone Australia. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated with macarons, strawberries, and butter cream. Ciao was very accommodating of our needs, and delivered the cake on time.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. The pizzas are delicious and the service is friendly and inviting. Will definitely be coming back!

Found this awesome place and came here every morning after the first time. Fantastic, fresh and great service. Nice atmosphere, and a must to have coffee and breakfast

We loved their pizzas! They have various options and ingredients. Their chef is really nice! He was happy to accommodate my request of half pizza with crispy bacon. 100% recommended!
