The queue is still completely worth it.....! I had the mozzarella, pesto & tomato toasted baguette today and it was perfection. The best mozzarella ever, and every mouthful delivered the most perfect crunch yet so perfectly soft on the inside. Just so so fresh & the best! The lime tart was also perfection. Every mouthful savoured. The pastry, the meringue, the curd....you should see my smile 😁
Best bakery in Perth. Always of the highest standard. Love everything, but the salted caramel donuts are a favourite. ❤️
I ordered an almond croissant and asked to toast it this morning . But the cashier and the guy were refused to do so . When they checked with the pastry chef behind , he said we not put the sweet thing on the toaster . What ?! I have been your customer for the last 5 years , everytime I order a medium cappuccino with one sugar and an almond croissant toasted . That’s my routine. And they did it for me the last 5 years . I know the cashier is new , but the guy and that pastry chef been working there for long time . And today is freezing ! 5 degree only ! Is that a big deal to toast the croissant a bit ?! Also , I read some of the reviews and photos down here , people had their almond croissants toasted as well ! I am just so disappointed!!!!!!!
The strawberry & cream tart had just the right amount of sweetness, creaminess, and a tinge of sourness from the strawberries. The tart base smelt so nice too, nutty and buttery. I would have liked to linger longer in the store to browse and consider all the options, but there's a line of people waiting to come in. Would be good if Chu can have a menu for people waiting in the queue to browse.
My favourite place for a sourdough loaf - arguably the best. Love their pastry’s too! Well balanced flavour and delicate 🥰
Delicious bakery! If you love jam donuts, you must give their Charlie Buns a go!
Queue is absolutely massive but worth the wait! Tried a caramel doughnut and an almond and coconut croissant - croissant was next level and up there with the best I’ve ever had. Doughnut was tasty but nothing special. Friends had the hazelnut special pastry and said it was exceptional. Staff were friendly and the selection was excellent so can see why everyone raves about it!
This place is next level. Had a chocolate eclair and sourdough bread, both were outstanding. I am from Melbourne, and if this place were in Melbourne, it would be among the best patisseries. It isn't the cheapest, but is well worth what you pay. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Well done and thanks to the owners - you guys sure know what you're doing!
Decent croissants & coffee. Pastries & bakery items are on the pricey side as usual but taste nice. Coffee was also pretty over priced for what you get but how could you not get a coffee with your croissants?! We’ve been missing good croissants since we left Sydney & also couldn’t travel to Melbourne for over an year. At least we could taste something similar to what we used to get from those 2 cities.
Really nice pastry here. Especially their sweet stuff. My mum loves coming here as the owners always recognise her. Nice family from down south making it happen in the city. Congratulations!
