125 Flinders Lane 3000, Melbourne
An amazing place in terms of style and taste. We went back for dinner after having lunch. The waitress didnβt write down our order. I quizzed her at dinner and she still remembered my lunch order. Talk about next level. The food here is amazing
Very delicious meals to indulge in here. Got there without a booking and got a table with a 90 min dinner window. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday evening either. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Tables are a bit small if you order more than one dish per person π€
Great food and cocktails. Would definitely go again. The 2 hour seating limit is a bit disappointing though. The guy handling our table had to literally pick the plates while we were still eating. And then he had to keep reminding us to leave. It was kind of embarrassing to be asked to leave so many times.
I shouldn't complain and I understand due to COVID they are getting people in and out but the experience was rushed, and just didn't feel like a real Chin Chin experience. Went there for a date, had the feed me option and all the plates came out one after the other. There was no room on the table and it felt like we had to eat really fast. This meant it wasn't enjoyed and the experience was a fail. Again, we will be back but after the COVID mess has sorted it self out.
Amazing food. Had the $80 feed me option. Highly recommend this. The perfect amount of food and a great way to taste the very best of the menu
Just had the Feed Me 2 banquet. An explosion of flavour in each dish. Beautifully prepared and presented, every dish melt in your mouth good. The waiting staff were very attentive, moving us through the courses quickly and efficiently. This can feel like working with an F1 car crew at times, but I guess you expect this here. It's all part of the CC experience. Highly recommended πππππ
Perfectly balanced, amazing, flavoursome food! I keep coming back again and again!
Great spot in a very Iconic Melbourne lane, had dinner with my fiancΓ© last Thursday we had a great time. The only reason I wouldnβt give a 5 stars because music was too loud and menu was slightly too expensive.
Amazing food. Must make a reservation to ensure a good spot. But different lives upto the hype.
I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and it turns out that this place is pretty impressive as an overall experience. The aesthetic of this joint is pretty sick, and there's a good vibe with the music, lighting and attentive customer service. Pricing is expensive, but it's kind of understandable given the demand for this place. Got the feed me option and found some dishes to be quite good, however overall the food seems more like it's meant to be art than just taste delicious... it's an experience, but there's plenty of less-hyped and cheaper places with much nicer food. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back. Going to Chin Chin kinda feels more like ticking something off the bucket list than discovering a new favourite restaurant. Still, the overall experience is great and I'd recommend going here at least once.
