Came here with my Indian workmates who highly recommended this place. Vegetarian Indian street food - very reasonably price. Food was delicious. I didn’t mind having vegetarian at all.

This is a delightful place, my favourite Indian restaurant. I have travelled and lived in many places around the world. It is very rare to see such dedication to the craft and innovation. The service always leaves you feeling uplifted. Please continue to do such a wonderful job. Makes me feel lucky to be in Sydney :)

This place has nice variety of street food. Lots of seats and tables to seat work catch ups. I ordered the cheese dosa, and my friend ordered the vegetarian curry. Food is good here. The atmosphere here is busy and loud. Definitely be back again to try more of their street food menu.

Food was great, though came out cold so had to send back much to the waitress' confusion. Our particular waitress was very rude and had very poor customer service. Restaurant was not too busy when we arrived, so we weren't quite sure why she was so abrupt and ill-mannered. When the food arrived the waitress just stood there waiting for us to set our own table. Menu is extensive and you order via your phone at the table. I'm sure the menu is very authentic and the food was actually quite tasty once we got food that was freshly made. But super confusing with no descriptions. Vegetarian food, vegan options available. Priced competitively. There were options to make the meal vegan and no garlic, no onion. We selected those to accommodate our group's dietary requirements. We were then told to order something else because the meals we chose couldn't be made to our dietary requirements despite stating on the online menu that they could be accommodated. Not quite sure why the option was there if it isn't going to be accommodated! Very loud and not super friendly. Marketed as authentic street food but with restaurant service. Missed the mark. Probably won't be back, customer service is very important and I felt very unwelcome. Parking: - restaurant has a carpark, don't even try, you won't get a spot. - street parking opposite the restaurant is 2hrs For parents: - high chairs available - not much space for prams - no baby change table that was easily accessible within the restaurant - kids menu, aimed at primary-aged children.

Amazing taste, good food. Love visiting Chatkazz as it has some twist to Indian food. For vegetarians, this place needs to be an ultimate destination to hog 😅.

2 staff promised to seat us but never came back. Samosa chaat was totally soaked and became mushy, overloaded with chana.

Over the years, the quality of the food has declined massively. The food does not taste real any more. The food are stale and cheap quality and can taste lots of preservatives and chemicals. I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. It is sad to see how this once renowned authentic vegetarian restaurant has focused more on profit and forgot about the quality and health of customers anymore. We got different types of sweets on Monday and has to throw them all into the bin because of how bad it tasted.

Good food, good service, good quality and right serving quantity. A place that I would definitely recommend to others and would love to visit again. Hard to find a table here. That's the only drawback.

Amazing place and amazing food. I could say it was a good welcome for us in Sydney. We never got such food in Perth and missed Indian street food. But, after eating here we can say we don’t miss Indian street food anymore. Everything was just amazing. I also loved the concept of ordering by app so you don’t have to call someone over and over again for ordering. I would suggest to pay through app too as it’s always a hassle to wait in line for a long time. The quantity for Indo-Chinese could be a bit more to be frank as if you see paneer chilli, it’s a very small portion (though tastes amazing). The only reason for 4 stars is because of the service when it’s too busy. I do understand that it isn’t easy to handle all customers when the place is too busy. But, for simply asking for a take away box, I had to ask the staff 5 times. In the end I went to the counter and asked the cashier who gave it to me. Just some suggestions to make it better. Overall it’s a place to be if you miss Indian street food and want to have the feel of being in India. Just amazing!
