Great atmosphere and setup. Unfortunately the bar staff can be rude or just plan ignore you, not an isolated experience either. First harvest beer is great

Slightly disappointed with the tour... thought we might see brewery fully functioning - hardly saw any worker or anything in action. Also disappointed with staff not know if food was gluten free ... when asked about crackers accompanying cheese platter, initially told that they were only to be told minutes later that they were not ... too late. Not great value for money spent.

Fantastic range of beers and a fine view of the historic brewery. Can't wait to go back.

Our party for 10 started indoors seated around one of the massive tables - after lunch we braves the cold and moved outdoors where the kids ran and explored the grounds so much, spotting paddymelons, that we stayed for 3 hours total. Great service. Friendly staff. Will be back next time we are in town.

Very good restaurant with gorgeous surrounds and one of the best parmis made with local ingredients in Hobart.

Place is really cool, food it is good and beer tasting was very watery.

Didn't have a chance to do the tour. But the bar was great. Beautiful atmosphere to enjoy some good food and do a tasting paddle 😊

Brilliant atmosphere and delicious food

Easy booking, great garden views, drink and food. Perfect for a cold, rainy day. Loved the warm mead.

Seemed like they were not happy to see more customers. Maybe they were about to close and didn't want more customers.

Beers are definitely great! Unfortunately the staff was really unwelcoming and rude.

Booked a tour of the brewery as a must-see for our trip to Tasmania. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this experience. It was highly educational, full of history and unknown facts and was guided by the guy with long brown hair (apologies for not remembering his name) who was super friendly, accomodating and provided lots of laughable moments. After the tour we enjoyed a platter of cheese, meets and dips along with a tasting paddle out in the garden and enjoyed a long lunch to follow after. Amazing food, drinks and experience all round!

Great food, not overly priced like many would expect

First time I’ve been there and I had my birthday celebration last Saturday, and when I got there, the first thing I heard from the staff was “you can’t bring a cake”. Not even a nice word before. And of course if I knew I could not bring a cake to my birthday I would have chosen another venue to celebrate. And that’s what happened. After eat and have a couple of drinks, we left to another place to celebrate properly with the cake. Very frustrating and rude. They could have made my night more special.

What a beautiful place for lunch. My family and I booked in for lunch on a Tuesday. My husband was happy with his tasting paddle, my boys aged 8 & 12 were happy with their burgers (the staff suggested we get them the adult menu ones as the kids ones were little, this was a great suggestion as neither of them struggled to finish it) The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good and the gardens just beautiful. We all really enjoyed visiting here for lunch. I even got a lovely glass of Tasmanian wine!

Good drinks and food.

Beaut location with stunning views and grounds. Beer delish and the tasting plate was nice also. Superb day for sitting on the front verandah enjoying a few brews
