Another evening of delightful fare and great service. Even remembered to bring our own wine this time.

Very good Italian place for Alice Springs, has some really good vegetarian options available - their vegetarian lasagna was quite good! Also tried their salmon, which was very tasty as well. Nice atmosphere and effort in the ambience of an Italian restaurant in the outback

Far too expensive for the size of your meal and the quality is below par.

Not great, service dodgy, I've had worse but for the prices it needs to be better

Kind of pricey for a decent portion of nothing fancy. Waited one hour for dinner, kids ate the legs off the table. They said 'sorry'...

I thought I was walking into a quaint Italian restaurant with friendly staff, laughter and good food. Alas, it is a cluttered venue with poor decoration and frantic staff, an overall bedraggled restaurant (the ones that make the shortlist for Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares TV show). Before I get into more detail, I usually like to support local businesses but in this case, I'd recommend anyone to go for Dominoes instead, that is if you want something tasty and within a decent time frame. The detail about food and service: Regarding the food, I can only mention my little order of two small pizzas I was buying for my kids and a friend's previous experience. I acknowledge that the restaurant was busy and I was told it'd be a 50 minute wait. I arrived 40 minutes later to be told in a curt manner that I had already been told that I had to wait for 50 minutes and I still had to wait for another 10! (for 2 small pizzas). I returned later (past 10 more minutes) and, again, I was welcomed unceremoniously, saying that they were busy and my order wasn't ready. The girl at the counter proceeded to walk away leaving me mid sentece, and completely ignored me from then on. It took another 20 minutes (an hour and 10 minutes in total) for the pizzas to be ready. The pizzas finally arrived full of attitude and not a single apology. At least I hoped the pizzas would be good. Unfortunately, they were mediocre, and that is being generous. The ingredients were ordinary, the ham was the cheap sliced kind you see at the supermarket deli. The cheese was not the quality mozzarella that you find in a proper Italian restaurant, it was more likely to be home brand shredded cheese - 'pizza blend'. And the pizzas rather than small, they were minuscule. The disturbing thing was when I arrived back at our hotel and my kids had started eating the pizzas, my wife asked where I got them from. When I said "Casa Nostra", her face dropped and told me that a colleague had had gastro from eating there a couple of days earlier. I don't like to leave bad reviews, and I thought at the time, all of this could be forgiven with an apology, but this never came and hence this honest review. Maybe it would help to learn from food trucks selling pizzas out of a single wood fire oven at festivals and markets, pumping out delicious quality food in less than half the time. Seriously think about the logistics of the kitchen, and do a thorough clean.

Had a great night in this slightly noisy very family style pizza pasta restaurant. Bookings are recommended on Friday and Saturday nights as it gets very busy. Service is good and the orders are filled in next to no time at all. The veal was great as was the pasta meals. The pizzas are a little too like Domino’s pizza for my liking but that’s perfect for the kids on the table. We had the house wine as well which was reasonable and everyone had fun without having to worry too much about the kids who were misbehaving a little.
