13 Playfair St The Rocks 2000, Sydney
One star is way too much for this restaurant. By far the worst and overpriced restaurant in Sydney!... the pizza tasted seriously like a frozen pizza from Supermarket and a piece of meat with a gravy that tasted like the Maggie brand ones... seriously for that price (or even less) you could fine something way better and real Italian!!!
Spaghetti and barramundi are super amazing. I have been very impressive about service and food. highly recommend this restaurant.
Service wasn't that memorable, unless you include the fact they forgot part of our order. Pizza and pasta that were, at best, bland and reminiscent of the ordinary fare served up as Italian back in the 80s when Australian palates were beginning to develop. Softdrinks were overpriced since it's the Rocks. Please do your clients a good turn and be better than being just another business milking the tourists and locals. We deserve it and comments like this won't get served up.
Authentic food, good location, exceptional customer service! Keep up the goodwork guys!
One of my favourite restaurants of all time. The food is so authentic and so fresh it all tastes divine. A varity of foods, wines, dishes to choose from. The staff are all so friendly and accomadating. The surroundings outdoor dining is beautiful! And reasonably priced. If you in the Rocks please go check them out!
We had really bad experience for quality of food and services. No Italians are working there.
Good service, clean, I don't recommend the dessert.
The sunny courtyard was pleasant. We ordered a veal saltimbocca and a scallopini al funghi. Both were bland and the veal was a little tough. The accompanying vegetables were almost raw. The service was good. Not good value.
$23 for five calamari rings that were under cooked and took forever to arrive. I don't recommend this place at all
This place used to be fantastic. But . . . perhaps it has become used to serving cruise liners full of tourists or one-time visitors. The food is good. Not excellent. But good. It is pricey for what it is. But worse, the service! Four of us dined there tonight. Two meals came out. Then five minutes later, another. And then, we had to ask for the fourth which arrived a 5 mins later. 10 mins behind the first two and 5 mins behind the third. That's not the way a restaurant should be! Then . . .we ordered a second bottle of wine. 15mins later, when it hadn't arrived, we enquired only to be told " you have ordered it. It will come!". Again, not good enough. Only after we enquired again, did it turn up. The setting is beautiful. The food is good. But sadly, let down by the service.
