Caffè Da Marco

I kind of like this cafe. The location is just perfect at the entrance of Rundle Plaza! So! I've tried Mocha and Cappuccino here, both really tasty. They accept customer cups/mugs as well, so it's cool (I mean let's take care of the environment by using less disposable stuff) They are quite quick with the orders as well, so you don't have to wait for ages to get what you want lol Can't think of a reason not to give it 5 stars.

Imagine you order a crusty croissant and then the waitress gives you a completely different one. I don't even know the name of the croissant but the Asian bun-haired lady insisted that it was the one we ordered. Bad attitude and long face. I ordered the crusty croissant with my friend didn't we know that? My friend is even Italian wouldn't she be able to tell the difference? Is it so hard to admit you made a mistake? Me and my friend quivered with anger. WORST service experience ever. I hope you are working here part time to raise money for a hearing operation and all the waiters serving you in the future are like you:)

Pastry like cannoli, custard croissant, and tiramisu is not very sweet just balanced taste. Lattè is in rustic Italian standard.

Had my usual coffee and a lemon melting moment. A busy place, however, this does not detract from it's atmosphere which is good. Service is quick and courteous. For me the coffee is strong and tasty as I like it. Sit and watch the passing human traffic as well.

Blonde cashier in pony-tail seem to be pre-occupied or not in the mood and doesnt even smile, customer service definitely can be improved. Coffee is good. Located near the escalator very convenient.

Simple, classic type cafe with a breakfast menu including items such as egg and bacon roll.

Good coffee. Good selection of sweet items including a range of pastries. Chicken burger made with real chicken was delicious. The guy on the register was cheerless and disinterested; pity as the products were good.

Extremely disappointed in the professionalism of the staff especially the Asian lady making the coffee on Sunday morning 19/12/22. She is downright horrible with her attitude and has no intention of making up for the messed up order. I was having a quick breakfast with my two young daughters and I ordered the muffin and coffee deal for $9. As my order arrived, we had 2 babycinos came to our table as well and I actually thought this came as a complimentary from the café therefore I kindly accepted it. 10 minutes later, the Asian lady who was making the coffee came out and asked if I ordered the babycinos. She was confrontational and I told her I genuinely thought this was complimentary. She was rude and continuously defended herself by saying there's no café in the whole Adelaide that serves free babycino (FYI - pony and cole cafe in Hindmarsh does complimentary babycinos). The fact that if these two babycinos were two iced latte or coffee; I would obviously said it's not my order because why would my daughters (2 and 1 years old) drink coffee at this age?! I was keeping my cool and I kept explaining to her that it was a perfect misunderstanding and I'm willing to pay for it if you apologies. She didn't want to do it and continued to be very defensive. In the end, I walked off as it's starting to cause a scene and I didn't want my daughters to see the whole situation. I would like to assume she had a very bad day but the fact you're being angry and defensive in front my two young daughters are downright unacceptable. It's a shame that I'm not coming back anymore as I actually like your coffees. Thanks but no thanks.

Such an exquisite experience. I was served by a nice, Asian young man and my croissant was just delicious and the coffee just hit the spot. 10/10 food and service

Ordered a few things. Everything was ok apart from the chocolate milk. Glass was cold but contents was warm. It was taken back and brought back to me with ice added. Re made with cold milk and maybe a scoop of ice cream would have been better. (That's how we once made them). Refused the returned beverage. No refund was given. Disappointing
