Cacutta Sweets

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant I have been to in Melbourne. The food was super delicious and was really affordable. Nice staff and a great selection of Indian sweets. They were open late and didn’t kick us out despite coming in for a late sitting. Highly recommend and would come back again. Thanks again 👌🏼.

Amazing curries and the best garlic naan we have tasted (where you can actually see the garlic). Veg samoosa was super tasty (again one of the best we have had). Container portions are good (1 curry could feed 2 - 3 with ease). Pricing was reasonable for what we ordered. Wait time was relatively fast. Liked the fact that they had a wide variety of sweets and treats on offer. We will definitely be back once they are open for dine in (post lockdown 4.0).

Not sure why will they name their shop ‘Calcutta sweets’ when they don’t have any Calcutta sweets or Bengal sweets. The sweets actually sold here are also mediocre. If you are looking for generic Indian sweets then you may think of going here - else if you are looking for genuine Calcutta sweets - best avoid this place.

I ordered kadhi pkoda lunch pack today I got manchurian peace in this instead of pkoda. Very bad taste. I am very disappointed.

Trust me,if you are a diehard fan of Choke batture, please visit this place. They are the best ever in the Dandenong city. For $9.50, you can have a great meal. Girls at the counter are really welcoming. You need to ask the receipt specifically,if you really want.

An absolutely marvellous venue, with first class Chicken Biryani.

Good place for Indian sweets. Their Jalebi is excellent.
