119 Macleay St Potts Point 2011, Sydney
The sashimi and cod are tasty but the other courses are just alright. We was disappointed that on the website shown byo is allowed but it was refused when we brought a bottle of sake..
A sophisticated and intimate ambience. You would think you were in the Ginza Nicely insulated from harshness of Macleay St. You can have a drink at the bar and then be seated for your meal. Excellent traditional Japanese dishes simply but elegantly presented. Prices are relatively high as portions are on the small. Check out the specials which can include a sake special of 300ml carafe for $30. Service is welcoming and efficient. A pleasant dining experience. Street parking is difficult. Try the nearby parking stations in need.
Great food Fish to rice ratio was on point. Went with a group of 7 and each dish was incredible. Definitely try the miso eggplant
Delicious well made food, nice cozy atmosphere with wood and soft lighting. The chicken was succulent and crisp. Very good price for the food
Pros: Sashimi are fresh. Customer service is good. Cons: 1. Slightly over priced with the given grade of this restaurant. 2. Portion is small (5 dishes ordered for 2 ppl, not felt like anywhere near full) 3. Menu choices are limited. 4. Dishes are just ordinary, lack a bit of spark. just a bit plain in both tastes and presentation.
Great service and the staff was so pleasant. Food was done is considered way too. Sushi was small enough to eat in one mouthful - the way it should be and really appreciated. The grilled duck was juicy and tasty. A place worth eating at.
Short menu but really special. Beautifully presented.
Busshari is a fine dining type of Japanese Restaurant in Potts Point. It offers dishes such as freshly made sushi and sashimi, cooked dishes including karaage chicken and skewers, as well as different types of sake and beer. One minor complaint is that the range of their dishes have significantly reduced over the years, making it less appealing.
Great food and service! Sashimi and sushi were so fresh and delicious!
The food was amazing, but the downside was the service. Maybe they were understaffed the day that we visited - but we had a group of six and even to order the first round of drinks, we had to walk to a waiter and politely request service; and again multiple times. Maybe they should introduce QR codes if they cant visit the tables often.
