This place is great. The atmosphere is intimate and the staff are lovely. All the food I’ve had here was delightful, miles beyond the perfunctory sadness that some vegan options turn out to be. Notable deliciousness includes: carrot hummus of joy, those balsamic mushrooms and the beans…good gracious me THE BEANS!!!! Right up there with Bodhi restaurant.

The food and drinks here are really creative. The blue algae smoothie was really unique even though the taste is mainly coconut. Cacao hit smoothie was average. Bedouin bowl was underwhelming and a small serving size. The waffles were not as tasty as we expected. And items are pretty pricey. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the vegan brekky bowl. The smokey beans, mushroom and the ingredients tasted so good! Amazed by how they made a simple dish taste so wonderful.

For some reason I've always been afraid to go to BBC, mainly cause when I go out I'd like to cause maximum caloric damage to myself. However this joint turned out to be a really nice surprise. The new location really does it wonders, not like I ever went to the old mill location but it's centrality at the beginning of Enmore road is great for people watching. The bowls...well let's start with the coffee. It was really nice and quick. The bowls....we got the Bedouin bowl and although most ingredients aren't found in the Sahara it was still a pretty tasty and surprisingly filling bowl. The sauces were a little too sweet for my taste. I did leaving feeling satiated and healthy. A rare combination.

Vegan Restaurant. Love the interior, it smartly created home restaurant feeling by combining different furniture in different material and style. Lovely life plantation has made a perfect touch to the overall interior design. Another big tick is the restaurant has clearly marked which meal are onion free and garlic free in the menu. This makes it easier for both the religious people and the staff. You may feel the restaurants is making their efforts trying to bring the Western style together with Asian. In this aspect, they are not quite successful yet. The green power bowl is just a simple put together. With the hot asparagus, spinach and kale too oily and spinach bit too salty, Quinoa and avocado are cold, not even warm. The temperature is not right at all. I also tried Vegan Apple and Walnut Round from the fridge as sweat treat. Could see the effort, but not there yet either. Good in sweetness as it is not too sweet. That’s it.

I was delighted to find this place open on a Friday evening and enjoyed the bedduine bowl and matcha soy latte very much. The staff are super friendly. I'll definitely be back to try some other tempting options on the all-vegan menu. I'm not a wine drinker but there are quite a few organic wines on offer, or gin mixers.
