Brooklyn Depot, Southbank, Brisbane

visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was very crowded. nevertheless, we were seated quickly and ordered within a few minutes of sitting down. between 2 of us, we ordered a fried chicken burger, ribs (which was on special that day as it was a Tuesday) and mozzarella sticks. the food took about 30-45 minutes to arrive as there was a large group who was seated just before us. when it arrived, we were disappointed by the quality of the food. our mozzarella sticks came first - they smelt really good but upon biting into them, most of the sticks were simply just shells with almost no cheese in them. the ribs were coated with a delicious smokey sauce, but unfortunately, the meat was really dry. the fries and coleslaw that came with it was normal. lastly, the chicken burger was super dry, the chicken smelt a bit funny and the bun was dry and burnt. the meal cost us ~$45 total, which we definitely felt was not worth the price. the service was alright though nothing special. would probably not visit again!

Situated in the Grey st. Precinct, with good seating choices either inside or out, its a casual, easy place to grab a tasty burger with mates or with your family. Have a big meal or a snack with a couple of beers, either way you will be happy you did it here.

Good food, however the service was nothing short of an embarrassment. The restaurant was not overly busy the night we decided to dine with Brooklyn Depot Southbank and yet we waited at the door to be seated for nearly 10 minutes while we watched the waiting staff walk on past with not even the slightest acknowledgement. We were then seated and presented with our menus by a waitress who did not look like she did want to be there and was unacomadating throughout. Our drinks we ordered were prepared and sat waiting to be delivered for near on 5 minutes and same with the food after we watched a staff member messing around at the kitchen door with the food sitting with no heat lamps on and as a result our sides arrived cold and required sending back. Overall good food but very poor service.

The burger was yum. They tasted juicy. Would definitely recommend it for burger lovers. And guys do try the epic burgers as well.

Great atmosphere, great selection of food. Will be returning to try the burgers they have on the menu. Located in a nice area on Southbank with indoor and outdoor seating. A selection of wine and spirits as well. The service was good too. Nice crew working there.

Service was very average. Probably wouldn't go there again. We asked questions about the food and they couldn't be answered which was very frustrating as I have food allergies. Side dish came out after we finished our burgers which we wanted to put on our burgers, however we were still charged for it. We had to ask for water + no napkins or cutlery were provided. I had to take it from another table. On a positive the burgers were yum.
