Always a favourite in Freo. Awesome atmosphere, dark and cosy with share plates and bread in common....

My fav restaurant in Perth after a month long stay in WA. The bread and dip selection was wonderful. The T-bone steak was done to absolute perfection. 😍 And the cauliflower was just sooo flavourful. Beautiful combination of flavours, left the restaurant stuffed to the brim. And of course, wouldn’t be five stars without great service. 👌🏼

Was very good had dinner there and now breakfast yummy food great staff 😊

Food pretty good, but made us wait 50 minutes for mains after ordering, when the place was only 2/3 full

Bread in Common, top marks! Everything is produced in-house including bottled produce, breads of all kind, local spirits including chillie vodka, coffee & vanilla infused vodka, gin of every type, all produced from their own Distillery elsewhere. The servings are given great care, cooked to perfection & delivered with a smile. Great atmosphere in one of the historic Fremantle Buildings, inside & outside dining. Prominent Coffee Machine next to a bakery counter; yummy coffee, yummy baked goods to go, outstanding Cafe that has it all! Highly recommended but don't tell too many shhhh!

We went to Bread in common to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. At first the lighting felt a bit dim but we got used to that after a while. The atmosphere was enjoyable and encouraged good conversation. The food was tasty and the servings were ample. When it came time to pay the bill I thought the cost was quite reasonable. I would happily return for another delightful meal.

The food at this place is so consistent and never let's me down. The restaurant is always pretty clean, neat and well presented. I think besides great food and service the cleanliness of the bathrooms reflects how well it's managed.

Good food and coffee in general. They seemed to want to re invent the wheel with their version of bread pudding. Staff seem quite up themselves which made me think I'd rather go elsewhere

Nice enough venue, but service was sorely lacking. Waitress seated us then forgot about us for more than half an hour while taking orders of customers who had come in after. Food was decent, but not elevated enough to justify the price tag. Bought a loaf on the way out - it was nice too but nothing to write home about.

Serious question; how is this restaurant still operating?? We were shoved onto over-crowded tables closer in proximity to strangers than to each other, making conversation impossible and plates of food inedible after other people’s saliva flew onto our plates (yep, that's how close we were). In addition to literally bumping elbows with other guests and being forced to sit in silence all evening, I witnessed staff members washing their faces in the bar sink and wiping sweat from their faces AS they were preparing drinks. If there’s another covid outbreak, the chances are it is coming directly from this place! Find yourself another place to dine in Fremantle, there are plenty of other restaurants who have thought more comprehensively about customer experience with far more innovative and higher-quality dishes (not to mention more hygienic practises)!
