Excellent food & service. Best meal we have had for a long time. The Cabernet & Pinot Noir were outstanding.

Wow. This place is a diamond in a tree change. Came away for a cow watching weekend and had this amazing treat. Well worth a visit if you are looking for decadence. Food, service and atmosphere then this is a must do

This place is definitely one of the best I have been... the food is amazing, actually I don't have words to describe the flavors of their menu... Also the hospitality of the manager, the sommelier and the waitresses is really kind, they make you feel unique. Definitely everyone has to try "the tree little pigs" What an amazing experience!! I'm gonna be there again some day for sure!!

What an absolute gem! We had a fantastic lunch here with great wine. The three course degustation was as good if not better then many others we have had in the Hunter. The outdoor patio is lovely and relaxing. Highly recommend and will be back.

Expensive but quality restaurant (not cafe) food. Great friendly service. Good atmosphere. Limited wine list but adequate.

Found Boydells restaurant on trip advisor while in Maitland on a gloomy day for a work trip to visit the hospitals. The location was quite a fair way away from our accommodation but thought it was worth the risk to jump in the car and drive instead of walking to the closest place to us for convenience. This place didn't dissapoint, the greeting by our host was warm , pleasant and easy on the eye after a hard day in the office. But the food and wine was to die for. Zucchini flowers, octopus and chorizo, duck breast, pork belly Oh lord it was delicious. 12/10 if we could offer a score. Great experience. Cheers.

This is an atmospheric restaurant. It is a delightful and intriguing setting. The food is superb with a generous menu. My wife and I dined here in August on a Saturday evening. The restaurant full. The service was attentive and helpful. We were fans of Boydell wines and this led us to the restaurant. It is wonderful that Morpeth now has such an outstanding restaurant with such eminent chefs. We persevered with booking and are so thankful that we did.
