Great food, great value, and the kitchen was open at 8:15pm on a Friday night - unlike Bangkok Brothers... Considerably better value than most Indian restaurants, but they actually give you a good sized serving, and it tastes great too. May have found my new favourite Indian restaurant..
Food was awesome with courteous staff and lovely environment. Everything was soo good. Thanks to the chef for mindblowing curry. I would love to taste other street food items too. It would be great if you guys are open during lunch time.
Google says its open now here its close
Delicious curries, ordered 3 curries with my kids to share. All 3 curries were excellent. The naan and paratha were fresh, soft and aromatic.
This unpretentious eatery will surprise you with flavourful and memorable dishes. The portions seem small but donβt be fooled, they are quite filling. Staff was very polite and helpful. We tried different breads, Lassi and curries, and quite honestly everything was delicious!
Great Food! The butter chicken is fantastic and the serving size and price were good. We have now switched from Salt Indian Cuisine to Bombay Talkies.
Amazing curry ! Best if had since the test match if 2012
Oh wow this little humble established took me by surprise! The curry dishes were amazing and the staff & chef were so accommodating, they went out of their way to cook me couple of dishes that was not on the menu and it turned out better than I expected! Saag Aloo & King Prawn Curry should definitely be added on the menu! Well done guys and compliments to the chef! π
Sad to say we've visited recently and the quality has gone downhill. In fact, another customer asked me what I thought of my meal and he agreed with our assessment ------------------Old Review----------------------------------- The owners of this restaurant (and Dough Pizza) are related to the family who founded the renowned Nine Marys, Maya Masala, Chutney Marys, Balti, Cinnamon Club and Mehla. I've frequented these establishments over the last 15 years while they have been in their prime and can attest to the great deal of experience the owners have as restaurateurs. Bombay Talkies has the look, feel and charm of a roadside restaurant in India and brought back memories of my visits to the homeland. We ordered the Samosa Chaat, Chicken Tikka, Rice, Butter Chicken, Puri and Gulab Jamun. Each of the dishes were absolutely fantastic and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for those who appreciate authentic Indian cuisine.
Super service, friendly staff. Great selection of red wine. Would come again.
