Blackbird Restaurant

Food, service, ambiance all 10/10! We were well looked after the whole night by the lovely and friendly staff. The food was elegantly plated and tasted delicious, we ordered the 3 cheese croquettes (I think that’s what is was called), the duck and beef calzone. Great portion sizes, we each had a glass of the blackbird merlot which was great! Definitely recommend sitting outside, they played smooth jazz the whole night, really reminded my of being in Paris!

Great service with polite wait staffs. Explain each course of menu with ease. The outside scenes was eye catching while sitting inside make us feel like we are in some restaurant of Europe. Six course menu was one of the best i feel and the fish of the day was delicious and ending with desert with chocolate mousse was lovely. Will visit again. Thank you Black Birds for lovely service and delicious food.

Good food and location

Absolutely delicious food here, A rustic take on Australian/French cuisine. The atmosphere is great here, it's nice and quiet but not too quite It would be a great restaurant to take your significant other or go for a more intimate style date, in my opinion. The wait staff are courteous and are very professional and take pride in their work. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food and atmosphere

We had a 8 course degustation (please allow 3 hours!) paired with wine. Great balance and a great wine list.

What a totally delicious meal!! We are four travellers from Queensland and we had the joy of experiencing the Blackbird restaurant on our first night in Perth. The meals took us straight back to our adventures in France. Wonderful atmosphere, great waiter and compliments to the chefs!!

Disappointing. Valentine's day booking. Service was dysfunctional. Waiters confused as to which dish we were served or not. Drinks not served until 3rd course. (Mains) Tables were sticky. Cutlery was not replaced, we had to clean it ourselves between courses. Food took in excess of 20 minutes hiatus at a time. Mosquitoes outside. Value for money for a Valentine's day special was appalling ($150/2ppl). By far the worst Valentine's day special we have had our whole lives... The second appetizer was made with simple and cheap/random, uninventive ingredients. Included a sakata/Fantastic type cracker.... happy to provide photos. Just not worth it.

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food and incredibly polite and attentive wait staff. We got the tasting menu and were blown away by the quality of each and every dish. Highly recommended, but I won't be telling too many people so we can keep the secret to ourselves!

Fine dining. Very good service. The waitress who took order for us was the best. Only She introduced dishes for us. I tried the 8-courses tasting menu was superb!
