Bittersweet

Rustic looking cafe fronting a small green space. Heaps of outdoor seating even in the pouring rain. Staff were friendly, service was fast. Coffee was ok if a little bitter. Bacon and egg roll was very generous, bacon was done just right. Was very busy when we visited, but they were coping very well.

Coffee & B&E roll was pretty good & enjoyable. The 2 people who was serving customer outdoors was friendly & polite. The 2 behind the counter was grumpy & miserable esp the barista who was on duty yesterday. Outdoor seating is quite spacious & has a pretty chilled vibe. Indoor is bit grubby & worn. Could do with a bit or work.

We got seated right away but I think they forgot us as we waited for our order to be taken. Once that was sorted, everything was fine. Food was delicious if not a bit expensive. It was busy and the furniture is a little wonky as some chairs were too high for the tables, but overall a lovely experience with some lovely food.

I come to bittersweet at least once a day and absolutely love them! They’re a super chill cafe with great food and in house roasted coffee. The customer service is amazing and they are so supportive of mums and bubs, the elderly, and dogs (they even have dog treats and drinks available!). It’s so nice to come to a cafe that feels like a welcoming community :) Thanks team!

I ordered the eggs benedict and a flat white coffee. The poached eggs were not cooked properly, however the waiters were extremely helpful and within 10 minutes I had a new meal. The food was great, once cooked properly.. Waiter service is 5 stars.

The staff were absolutely outstanding! They found out it was my friend's birthday and gave her a surprise. The new specials menu is fantastic and a breath of fresh air from the standard menu which has been around for a long time.

We had a gorgeous breakfast here, Eggs Benedict with salmon. One of us is lactose intolerant but that was no problem and a delicious, milk-free hollandaise sauce was produced with no fuss. One oddity for a Brit is that the perfectly cooked eggs were ice cold; whilst a bit of a surprise it worked.

Excellent food and the service by the darker skinned gentleman with an amazing beard was the best I've had in years! Very polite, professional and kind to my young daughter and my elderly parents. Couldn't recommend enough based on that

I have been roaming around to find a good cafe around Canberra areas with the authentic vibes of country side and one of my mate recommended to pay a visit to this beautiful place. I was overwhelmed with the service provided by the staff and the food was really exceptional and the price was reasonable too. The place was very neat and tidy and one of the staff name Nabin made our day . He was an exceptional guy and made us feel like our own place and the way he explained about the food and drinks I.e one of the best service provided by the staff till now. Me and my friends were really happy with his service and I would recommend everyone to pay a visit to this top place in Kingston with all the good vibes.
