Good food and atmosphere

Whenever we eat here for dinner, if we're sitting inside, its amazing. The food is great, comes out in a very speedy manner, and the service is pretty friendly. One time, we asked for a take-away container and the staff we asked literally took 10 minutes to get it, we even had to ask another staff member. And when we were seated outside with friends on a different occasion, we hardly got service, which was a bit rough when we needed something else. Overall, pretty good!

Great atmosphere outdoor seating is nicely decorated. With Covid, you have to scan a QR code at the table and order food that way. Hence my 3 star review, as the $59 platter wasn't available there. However, foods amazing: we had the $78 platter which came with pretzels, the platter and apple strudel dessert. German beers are good to wash down the yummy food, and service is friendly. Will be back again.

Fabulous place for great beer and food. We’ve been coming here for many years and a couple of years ago we weren’t at all happy with the food or service. Today we visited again after hearing of a news menu and the place is so much better. Great kids menu with healthy food options and lots of choice. Great German beer on tap. Fabulous service and atmosphere. Table tennis table is a great addition ans lots of fun. The food was tasty and served in a timely fashion. The menu is great and there is now so much choices for both meat eaters and also vegans and vegetarians. Impressed at the positive chamgeuans we’ll be back for sure.

Enjoyable German style food. Good tap beers. An excellent place for groups to eat too much and have fun.

Lovely location next to chatswood station on the top road. Good food but the portions are much smaller than the old days. We were a big group and was allocated along the glass wall, but it was easy too sunny and hot during lunch time with direct sunlight, no option for blinds to come down. Services was good.

I love the service and how friendly is the staff. Daniel is the best. Food, drinks, music and the table tennis make a great difference. I love coming here every weekend. I recommend to have the Strawberry Margaritas.

Food is ok, beer is expensive and no waiting service. Order with QR code on table tissue box. There is only one guy to deliver food to table. They better not be taking job seeker payments as they have gone fully auto. No table waiters, no jobs

To be honest, it was a bit like Red Rooster crunchy chicken on a plate. Beer was good. Wouldn't rush back.
