Bavarian Bier Cafe

Came here after seeing the marketing ad for $10 schnitzel fest. Unbelievable value for money meals. The portion size was massive and chicken well seasoned. Staff were very courteous and the place is comfy enough for an after work drink.

Love the $10 Schnitzel deal they've got going. Not a bad place for some Bavarian food and a German beer. The platters are pretty nice but a tad pricey. The vibe is more sports bar than Bavarian beer hall which tends to lack character give the venue a bit of sterile feel.

Good value for money. Have come here a number of times before and always felt the food and drinks were well priced. You can order via an app on your table, but we did the $25 All you can eat meat and cheese platter, so we had to pay at the counter. Beers and wines were generous as was rh all you can eat platter. Quality was better than I expected, we went through 3 platters between the three of us, so that wasn't a bad effort.

Tristan was awesome. Dealing 12 of us on a bottomless dinner was difficult but he made it fun and enjoyable for all. Recommend!!!

Overpriced for the lack of service. Great food and beers, but the QR Code ordering system doesn't give a good customer experience. Sure it's a nice app, but it forces each device to pay per-order. You can't just add things to the table and pay at the end, so splitting the bill is a pain. Or everyone on the table has to sit on their phones for a while looking at the menu items, and order / pay separately, which is inconvenient as some things are share plates. Also missed opportunities for staff to upsell things when no staff member taking your order. IMO you go to a restaurant and pay a premium to be served, or you pay a cheaper rate for less service (like take away). This ordering system makes the staff complacent, they don't check on tables or interact with customers, they stand around chatting at the pass or in the bar, waiting for the app to drop an order in. Unfortunately no German beer hall vibe here, which is a shame.

Really like this place. Not cheap, but have always had good experiences. The "Bavarian Tasting Platter" is great for those that can't make up their minds.

Good food. Booked a reservation using dimmi and got a 50% discount off the bill. Great for team lunch!

Nice place, good range of beers, and is generally. Food has generous portions but despite that I still overpriced. Come here for beers, and not necessarily for nibbles. Has a very commercial, “Starbucks” of beers feel to it, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The place is usually busy during all evenings. We could not overlook how slow the stuff was with attending to us on arrival and sorting out pre-booked seating. Hence, 4⭐️ only

The latest early evening crew in this place consistently under pour beer so that it settles well below the black volume measure line. It's expensive beer, and I want the correct amount, but when I asked the woman (who seemed to be the bar area lead as she was teaching newbies) behind the bar to top up my beer she argued with me. She told me that the clear black measurement line with the volume written directly above it didn't actually mean anything, pointing out an imaginary place lower down the glass instead. They obviously don't know how much they could get fined for not selling the correct amount.
