Delicious food and service
Tonight was my second time at Barbara’s and I dined on my own. In fact, I was quite nervous at first as I had not quite gone out to eat on my own locally but in saying that, the staff were superb, they made me feel welcome and kept ensuring that I was looked after the whole time. My dinner was divine, the prawns were delicate and the chicken cooked to perfection, the carrots had the perfect crunch and the potatoes crisp, topped with avocado, the perfect blend. It was one of the finest meals I have had in a long time. I must say the decaf piccolo was the added bonus, it has to be the best I’ve had at a restaurant ( most are just awful) so kudos to the chef, the staff and the barrister - talented staff and a delightful experience ❤️ Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Probably the worst pizzas I've ever had. The bases were like burnt cardboard. Maybe they had a bad or busy day. On the positive side, the pasta dishes we had were pretty good. Not a place I would recommend or go back to.
We had a 40 person event at this restaurant. It was a great experience, as both the service and food were wonderful. Frank, the restaurant's owner, was always approachable and positive for our numerous queries leading up to and during the event. Their event menu prices were fair and they were open to customising them to our liking and didn't charge us extra. They also didn't charge us for two adults that didn't turn up, even though we committed to those two adults in the final confirmation. We will be sure to refer their restaurant to our family and friends, and continue to attend ourselves in the near future.
Lovely restaurant, food was very nice. Attentive service. It needs a alcohol free drinks list other than soft drinks.
Worst Italian restaurant. Dinner was served 1.5 hr since order. Kids were starving. No apology until we asked. This is how so called Italian chefs sliced the birthday cake (pictured). Waitresses have no clue what customer service is. They literally throwing the dinner plate at you but not serving. Food was ok. We know which Italian restaurant to never visit again. (We booked a table for 19).
Didnt get photos because was extremely hungry and the food looked too good. But the food was truly amazing for its price. We had a variety of main meals, entrees and cocktas and all of them where more than great! Well done to the chefs. The staff that served us were also nice, professional and accommodating. Always asking if we wanted anything extra or if the food was up to standards. Well done and THANKYOU
This place is amazing! All food is made fresh, in house and definitely one of the best Italian Restaurants in Sydney. You feel and taste the love.
Amazing....from the moment we entered the customer service was amazing... Food....amazing... Everything fresh, delicious and makes you craving for more. Definitely a returning customer!!😍😍
if you are after good italian food this is not your place. the gnocchi with red sauce was like mashed potato in a with a burnt sauce, the seafood we had was not good quality had a frozen taste , boscialo tasted boiled cream no seasoning, pizza selection small, tastes bland. risotto gluggy and under seasoned. somebody needs to teach the chef about seasoning can not recommend highly enough to give this place a miss unless they overhaul their recipes and cooking. wish i could give minus stars
