Good Afghan cuisine and service

Food is great value for money. Tasty range of dishes. Toilet facilities and plenty of street and side street parking. No drinks available, however handy bottle shop right next door. Took 10 people for a feast and only cost $22 a head.

Went there at 9:40 with my guests. Took us a hour to get here. On google maps it shows they’re open till 10:30 but when I walked in at 9:42 they said they are closed. Fix your opening hours kindly.

Service is good, very humble staff and food is great. However, I didn't prefer to sit inside as it was echoing the noise for all the big groups of people sitting inside, it was not nice. But the staff was kind enough to get us a table outside, which is perfect. Also, the price of food is too high. So, one time visit is recommended to experience the food. Which is definitely worth trying.

Overall the food is delicious. One of my favourite halal restaurant in Brisbane now. Service was a bit slow so I won’t recommend you coming in absolutely famished. But when the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The meat dumplings were gorgeous. We had the kebabs as well and there was nothing to complain really. In terms of costs of the food, it probably is slightly overcharged but it’s not extremely steep either. I still think it’s worth visiting and trying out the Afghan food. I can’t say much on the degree of authenticity, but my partner and I were two very happy customers from a lovely new experience of trying out Afghan food. :)

Extremely slow service, I understand they are busy but it doesn't take 45 minutes to make three naan breads. I had to ask 5 times for them to then go back in the kitchen and take another 15 minutes to bring my order out unbelievable! Shocking service!

This dish is called “nakhut korma pallow”. I’m sad to give a low rating because this food was really bland and not hearty. I asked for mild but this curry was without flavour. I ate about half, was full, but not satisfied. Chick peas is my favourite curry, but perhaps not here ever again. Service was good, establishment did not have a dessert menu. Social distancing was observed and appreciated.
