Ballina Gallery Cafe

Had lunch here today - wonderful experience. Arrived slightly late but my companions were later still. As the cafe was finishing lunch service we had to order quickly. The staff were wonderful, polite, attentive and most patient. Food was excellent and really good coffee. A lovely relaxed afternoon. Recommended.

Great spot especially for breakfast. And dog friendly. Menu has changed a bit since last visit and some simpler choices would have been better for the less adventurous in our group. Staff are lovely though and it’s great to sit outside under the trees.

Egg benedict was so amazing. I want you to try it ‼️

We visited The Gallery Cafe for breakfast as it looked very appealing from the outside. My partner got the Eggs Benedict & I ordered the Honeycomb Pancakes which came with cream/jam. As I had a little bite of mine it was very yummy but as I spread the jam over my pancakes I found a dirty long hair which never seemed to end hidden in the jam! I was instantly turned off. We told the staff which weren’t apologetic, they replied I’ll get the chef to make you another. Which I just wasn’t hungry anymore. When we left a few of the girls working just gave us dirty looks. 1/10 wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Superb! Outstanding menu choices, interesting and engaging wine menu. Staff very professional and provided excellent service. A real novelty and coup for a restaurant to have such quality staff on the North coast! Food knowledge very good. Very enjoyable night. Highly recommended. A Ballina treasure.

Lovely little space in Ballina. Super friendly staff. We ducked in for some breakfast on the way to a friend's house as this was the most popular cafe on yelp in Ballina according to 65 other people. I haven't been anywhere else in Ballina, however, would recommend this place. Indoor and outdoor seating available, good coffee and cheap prices! I'm comparing the prices to an average Sydney breakfast though FYI.

Amazing coffee and even better food. We visited without a booking and was promptly seated. Menu had everything you would want for breakfast complete with kids options. Food was prompt and delicious. Couldn’t fault a thing and we’ll be back. Didn’t get a chance to look at the gallery but were told it’s great. Do yourself a favor and try this place...

We always love our visits to this beautiful cafe, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is exceptional as is the coffee. The owners are always accommodating and the service, impeccable.

We have always enjoyed the food and service at The Gallery. The staff members are great too.
