Best coffee I've had in a long time! Highly recommend

It was a very busy Mother's Day morning, fully booked, but we were seated and served promptly and efficiently. The eggs Benedict and buttermilk pancakes were delicious. Great coffee, too. No wonder it's so popular.

Meals were great, unfortunately we had 1 item missing from our order but it was quickly rectified and a refund for the missing item provided. Great service. Perfect outlook of the creek on a super still day was also nice.

Awesome fresh food with large serves. Salad choices are many and lots of cake choices for morning and afternoon tea. It was quiet today which is unusual. Inside/ outside dining. Lovely ambience. Setting with view of back creek.

5 of us has just finished lunch here at the Back Creek Cafe & the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely helpful & went above & beyond to make our food with a gluten free option made especially for 1 diner( which was not on the menu). The Pumpkin,Beetroot & Feta Salad was to die for. The Calamri was melt in your mouth, the prawns were fresher than fresh & the Burger was a massive serve & spectacular. A wonderful setting with the most amazing, helpful staff. I would give 10 stars if possible & recommend to everyone

Back Creek is our go-to place in our hometown. Their food is amazing, coffee is beautiful, the staff are unmatched anywhere else we've been on the mid north coast. Unfortunately myself, partner & our 5 year old daughter went for breakfast on Easter Monday & although Back Creek Cafe was as amazing as usual, there was a very aggressive, disgruntled customer there making a scene due to having to wait for her breakfast (at a packed cafe on a public holiday in a tourist town a wait is always expected). The customer proceeded to yell demands at the owner of Back Creek as well as 2 of the staff multiple times. She took her food & as she was walking out, and passed my 5 year old as well as 6 or 7 other tables of people, she proceeded to scream obscenities including the f-word. It was a completely unnecessary commotion towards a team who always does their best to be accommodating. Unfortunately I am to assume she wasn't from South West Rocks because no local would expect fast food speed service at a packed restaurant in this town. Good food is not fast!! And that's what you get at Back Creek Cafe, good food served by great people. Have multiple timestamped photos from the morning we were there of myself, partner & daughter. Unfortunate that anyone would attempt to make out as though the statements here made by customers attending on the day are a lie.

Back Creek is easily my favourite spot for food in South West Rocks. During peak times, I recommend you call ahead and book a table because this little place is always in high demand. The menu is simple, but that's because i think the food is prepared on site and its always good. There is quite a wait for food in peak holidays times, so don't come here if your expecting fast food in a hurry. The location is perfect, there is always a lot going on and plenty of people watching to be done so we are always happy to sit and chat while we wait. The water under the bridge is so blue and beautiful on a clear day. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend back Creek cafe

Just across the road from the river, this is a hidden gem. Eat inside or out, the food and menu is city style in a country setting, the food preparation and quality exceptional

Delicious lunch! Was initially thinking the brownies were overpriced but they were really delicious and huge! Very friendly staff too
