3/2 Trevillian Quay, Kingston
Delicious and quick food at a reasonable price.
Nice venue. Great service
One of the best cafes in Canberra. Fantastic ‘Black Mountain’ Canberra local coffee and great food. I ordered the Breakfast Deluxe and it was so delicious and was a generous size and the coffee has a deep, rich flavour. All the staff are great and friendly and what’s even better is that they’re open from 6:30 AM onwards. Great COVID-19 measures in place, great location, great soundtrack and fantastic view at the Kingston Foreshore. Can’t wait to be back!
Good breakfast spot at the edge of the Kingston Foreshore. It’s the first one you come to and if the patronage is any indication, popular with the locals. We had to wait a little while for a table, but the staff were friendly and worked hard to find us a space. Service was quick and efficient and we didn’t feel rushed to finish. The coffee was good and worth a second cup. Food was ok, and the helpings generous, but perhaps because it was so busy, not as tasty as I would have liked. Good enough to give it another go next time I walk the foreshore.
Really enjoyed the breakfast here it was 10/10. Definitely a local hot spot, very popular all day.
Coffee is really good. Meals were good size and well presented. Staff were very accommodating to move tables and chairs around.
Awful food. Non existent service and completely over-priced. When your server says it's "too easy" it clearly is but not very good quality.
On our recent visit to Canberra we had breakfast here each morning by the waterside on the Kingston foreshore. Staff were always cheerful and helpful; they greeted us warmly each time. The choices are plenty with healthy juices, smoothies and a range of teas to accompany our meals. Recommend the grain free porridge, smashed avo bruschetta and both the Moroccan eggs and Eggs Benedict.
After looking around on the foreshore, it seemed like this was one of only a few places open. The menu is fairly standard faire; lots of avocado, eggs, bacon, pastries and breads. You need to order at the counter but service to the table is quick. The food was fresh and tasty. I have had better mushrooms though. I loved that my tea was provided in a pot and loose leaf. The coffee is ok. Acceptable by most standards.
One of many great cafes in the area. Superior hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benny, helpful and friendly staff, and a unique table-number system using a deck of cards make this one particularly special.
