Cnr Meadow & James St 6055, Guildford
Excellent service. Always fresh food
You cannot go past or wrong with an Alfred's burger. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the soup is filling and hearty. Friendly staff and the food is alwaysssss fresh. Perfect for anytime of the year.
Iconic Alfred’s Kitchen .... so good to see it’s still open ! If you want an old fashion burger to finish off the night - you can’t beat this place ! Grab a giant burger, generous portion of chips, and an old fashioned milkshake ... sit by the fire pit and there ya have it , the most perfect way to finish off the night after clubbing!
Never had a bad experience and you cannot beat the nostalgia of the place. Can't remember how many times I've eaten here! I remember visiting as a child when the fire was a gravel pit post horse and cart, but has always had that feel.
Very good value if you look at the ingredients in the burger. Fairly priced if you just consider the quality of the main ingredient - meat's tough and is a little tendon-y. Lovely, helpful staff. It's quite crowded and there's always a queue. Instead of queueing, just call up and order in advance over the phone. You might have to call a couple of times or wait on the phone, but that's better than waiting in the physical queue (unless you meet a new friend there!).
Delicious burgers! Even my 3yo was saying how yummy his cheese burger was. Fun sitting by the old train carriage too. Would definitely go again!
First went here in mid 70s. Rarely over that side of town but if I am and if its meal time I have their steak burger. Got to be about the best going.
Always love the food, the staff and the ambience of Alfred's Kitchen. The last remaining "caravan burger joint" in Perth. Alfred's is a cultural icon. MUST TRY THEIR PES AND HAM SOUP!!!!!!!❤️
Great local place. Went on a cold night for the pea and ham soup, it was really thick and warm. Perfect. Great for a spot over in Guildford, but they also have seating if you feel like being in a courtyard or rail carriage.
I've been going to Alfred's around 40-45 years, never had a complaint (grew up in Bassendean). Burgers, pea soup, what can I say?...YUM! Awesome on a cool night, sitting around the fire, warming up and having a chat to others. Love Alfred's
