57 Centreway Pinewood Shopping Centre 3149, Mount Waverley
Have been to this cafe so many times and loved all their dishes and cakes. Whenever we feel like eating cakes, we will think of this cafe and take away few pieces home but tonight was so disappointed..... we take away 2 pieces caramel macadamia cheesecake and a New York cheesecake. The caramel macadamia cheesecake was so dry and the white cream on top hard and cracked, it’s seems like sitting there for days. Their standard had dropped, won’t be back again.
From the minute you walk into this hidden, local gem you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and service warm and friendly. I only had coffee on this occasion but it was delivered exactly as ordered. The place was fairly busy but not noisy. The food looked amazing and I can't wait to return to try it.
Great coffee, good friendly service
Awesome service. So glad they are up and running again.
A really wonderful local cafe. It has a lovely atmosphere that I find to be quite relaxing, and the service is impeccable. Indeed, the waiting staff is unfailingly polite and hospitable, and always seeks to make patrons comfortable. The food, moreover, is really tasty -- I particularly recommend the daily soup, which is always rich and filling. Cafe 57 is great for a quick coffee stop or a long, lingering lunch. Highly recommended.
This is corn cheese take away for 10 dollars???so worthy
Aram was incredible, the service he provided was next level
Very friendly. Good service.
As I stood behind the ‘Please wait to be seated’ (which codes for: Wait to be assessed as to whether you are suitable for admission … that you are predicted to spend enough money and/or reckoned not to lower the tone of the place) sign and receiving no attention (despite the presence of an army of staff apparently doing very little behind the counter) for a number of minutes I decided to leave. If I were to use adjectives to describe this establishment I would use; rude, unwelcoming, humiliating and pretentious. Here is a tip for management. Walk 50 metres to the west and observe Anne's Kitchen in operation to get an idea, by way of contrast, of your deficiencies.
An excellent community orientated local cafe. A great range of high quality food with great customer service at reasonable prices. The family owned cafe supports the local schools and sporting teams and a great asset to the community. I’d recommend the risotto, cutlets or pasta for lunch or dinner and ‘the shred’ for breakfast.
