Excellent food, excellent coffee. Quick service on a Saturday morning!

Decided to give them one last try. Nice enough staff however food was only average and way overpriced. Coffee was scalding hot and the soy milk they used curdled which they were aware of. It was explained to me that that this is a problem with the coffee blend they use. After being offered an alternative lactose free replacement it sadly never arrived. We paid for a disappointing breakfast (minus the soy flat white).

I’ve been going to this cafe for a long time. Often for breakfast or coffee and cake. Today a friend and I arrived and were informed we had to have a meal if we were going to order and dine in. I ordered a large coffee for us both, I was ordering food for me first and informed that what I had chosen was not a meal. A large bowl of chips was what I wanted, apparently it wasn’t enough. My friend hadn’t ordered yet. To be honest I was pretty disgusted with the whole situation. The place was nearly empty, there were many tables empty and they weren’t busy. If they were busy, I may have understood a bit more, but they weren’t. I was pretty much asked to order a large meal or leave. I decided to take my business elsewhere to someone would appreciate my support of a local business. After a long time of supporting this business I will not go back and neither will my friend. Silly, silly business choice on behalf of the manager. They will lose loyal customers this way.

Staff were great and the food was SOO delicious!!!

We arrived at 10.00am this morning. Whilst doing the CBR check-in a staff member appeared and ask were we having breakfast. I said no, just coffee. With that he said ' can't you read ' I said sorry, read what ' He said that sign right there! Unbelievable and unacceptable customer service. It was 10.00am Friday morning. Who has breakfast at that time of day on a work day? I will tell as many people as I possibly can about this cafe.

Nice cafe, has trendy vibe. Close to transport and street parking. Wide selection of food items. Good proximity to shopping. Toilets are clean and well kept but in the Shopping centre. #coddiewiimpleicp

A couple of my friends came here for drinks, but we were told we had to each order a meal to sit down. My friend ordered a brownie, (that she felt obligated to buy) and the cashier served the brownie with his bare hands (rather than tongs) and grabbed the head of the folk with his hands. Later, when my friend asked if she could replace her brownie slice, the cashier denied he served the brownie with his hands. Absolutely disgusted, my friend did not eat her brownie and wasted $7!!! I have never experienced worse customer service. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Extremely poor customer service by the man at the counter who I suspect is the manager. Behaved in such ways that could be described as the opposite of professional. My friends were planning to share a bowl of chips. However, he exclaimed that every customer must buy a meal to sit down at the cafe. He even exaggerated this fact by telling my friends and I that "when my father comes, even he has to buy food together with a coffee, I'm that strict". He talked to us like mates at a football game. Overly expressive, and defensive of his horrible service. Made us feel like we were in the wrong. It did not seem as they were putting any effort into the food they served either. I ordered scrambled eggs. What appeared in front of me was a piece of bread, literally with eggs and a sprinkle of feta cheese. No flavour whatsover. Nothing on the side. I felt absolutely horrified that I had just payed $14 for it. Mind you, the young man working (I suspect) part time was very kind, and proved us with a take-away box for our chips. The waitress was also very pleasant. Certainly an interesting experience. Couldn't really believe it was real. We are horrified to walk past the place.

I tried to order a milkshake but I was told if I wanted to sit down I was obligated to buy a meal. If the place was actually busy it would make sense but there weren’t even that many people there to begin with! I bought a small brownie piece for the sake of sitting down (which costs a ridiculously high price of $7) and we couldn’t even see them using tongs to grab it for me. Customer service is terrible and we were constantly feeling intimidated. Meals were incredibly overpriced and not even that tasty for such a pricetag; the bowl of chips for example were honestly small fries that were probably bought frozen from a grocery store for a far lower price. Fast food restaurants have better customer service and food! Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!
