The best pizza I have ever had! The cook on the pizza and the balance of unique and incredible flavours shows that its maker has an impeccable understanding of flavour pairings. I complemented my satisfied palate with sips of Outlaw Wine Co. Shiraz - a perfect wine pairing with a perfect pizza. If you want to enjoy and savour the best pizza ever come to the Roaring 40's Pizza Cafe in Angaston in the Barossa Village in South Australia. This is a wonderful and very satisfying gourmet delight that begs to be repeated!

Amazing food The pizza was out of this world. The dumplings unreal...yummy yummy The staff were amazing. I totally wholeheartedly recommend that everyone come check this place out you will not be disappointed

It's a half chicken shop, half diner with seating. The garlic bread needs more butter but the pizzas are where it's at (allbeit on the pricey side - $27 for 12") but good quality local ingredients are used, so it's worth it. Would I go back again: Yes, their smoke pizza and the one with black pudding is amazing!!!

No idea on who "cooks" the lasagne there but it's HORRIBLE! It was runny like soup and it had no texture or flavour almost like it was reheated in the microwave...

This a lovely cafe if you are looking to have scrumptious meal. The food was very tasty and we were served within 10 minutes. Interestingly if you are looking for vegetarian options, they staff help you to select something good and ensure to not add any meats in. We had the chicken Schnitzel, pizza, fish and chips, and pasta. You can get a variety of beer on tap or in bottles. For dessert they lovely cakes.

Cafe with a good range of pizza and other fast food. Licensed or $15 corkage, but no ice bucket. Popular for takeaway. Went another day and found the lunchtime waitperson patronising and overbearing.

Was only our first time there and they made us feel like we were regulars. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing.

Very disappointing this time around. Ordered 1 pizza and two chicken parmi packs, one with gravy one without. The gravy was so salty it was inedible. The chips in the other pack were so dry it was like eating cardboard. Only a few small pieces of chicken in each pack. $15.50 each... waste of money. Total spent $52.00

Great pizzas, very tasty with great service. Some lighter lunch options would have suited others in our party.
