As a Greek who's been and eaten souvlaki in Greece, this is as close as you can get in Australia. The place beats every other souvlaki I've had in Melbourne by a large distance. The menu is souvlakis (pork, chicken or vegetarian) or larger portions where the meat and salad and bread is laid out on a platter. You can also get tasty pork skewers. There are two salads and amazing homemade dips, some drinks and that's it. Prices are cheap, portions are generous, food is authentic and it tastes absolutely amazing. Every other place I've been to in Australia tries to cater to what Aussies think a souvlaki is. This place doesn't, and that's why it's special. Forget every other Greek place in Oakleigh and go here.

Although the service can be a little slow during busy periods (Saturday afternoons being a case in point), the staff are friendly and the food tasty and simple. A great selection of Greek desserts and biscuits, too.
