Nothing like it. A warm and vibrant interior reminiscent of Lower Manhattan, a 'view' of the Brooklyn Bridge and the cute little namesake fire hydrant out front. The shakes are to die for, and not too over the top like some other places. Definitely had room for more. Staff were lovely and attentive, and with such a friendly atmosphere, I'll definitely be returning.

Love this Pub! We wanted to go to somewhere close, comfortable and friendly. The meal was delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was lovely and the meals and drinks were not overpriced. Good Find!

Having sampled Tonys Pies for many years, I have no hesitation in recommending this business as outstanding for the quality and variety of pies, pasties, etc. In addition the service is first class - the ladies serving the public are smiling and cheerful and very helpful in providing advice and assistance when necessary.

Excellent value for money at $15.50 for lunch and coffee (2 cups). I had the special of a savoury crepe served with pork belly, slaw and an egg which was excellent. The coffee was good. Service was very friendly if a little slow in getting the food out, which they acknowledged so I forgive them! The menu consists of all the usual all day breakfast suspects plus some lunch specials. Well worth a visit.

Exactly what was needed in the area. The Essendon Hotel is a breath of fresh air in a pocket of Melbourne full of same/same cafes and restaurants. Plenty of staff, good menu with some interesting options and brilliant interior. Parma was one of the best I've had in ages. Don't be put off by the area, plenty of parking around. If you're after a good feed, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. There's even a happy hour(s) and bottomless brunch on weekend!
