Beautiful food and ambiance. Away from the main pubs which made it a great spot for a nice quiet lunch. Kitchen 2c offers a modern style cuisine. The restaurant has a earthy vibe with woody furniture and walls painted in blackboard paint with cool chalk art. I recommend trying the Thai Styled Grilled Chicken and my partner had the Potato Caramelised Onion Frittata which was also yummy.

We have been here a few times now. The first time we went there we tried a steak sandwich which was really delicious. The homemade honey mustard dressing is yummy and the steak is so tender. We keep going back for more and travel a long distance just to have one. You have to try one of these if you go there! The kids meals are always nice and the kids pizzas are really tasty and seem to be home made. We love to sit out on the front porch on the cosy little lounge set up in the corner and watch the world go by. We love this cute and cosy cottage café. The prices are very reasonable are there are a lot of choices on the menu from light to heavier meals. The only negative is the coffee that I have had in the past that was weak and milky which is exactly how I do not like my coffee.

The BlacksmitH Hahndorf Cafe, Main St Hahndorf will surprise. Situated in a delightful Old Barn, all wood and Corrugated iron, with two large wood burners. Embellished "with old mirrors" and oil paintings, with an eclectic mix of old tables and chairs. Along one wall is a comfy builtin sofa and from the ceiling hang an interesting assortment cane light shades, some colourful Moroccan lamps. Various horse and farm memorabilia complete the decor. We enjoyed a surprising tasty freshly made, Pumpkin and sweet potato soup, accompanied with a tasty cheese toasty, only $6.50 has to be good value. In a glass cabinet in the front of the kitchen is laden with tempting home made style choices. We will return for once soon.

The Three Gums Bistro is situated on top of the rise at the back of the Hahndorf Resort, Camping grounds. It is a new, modern designed spacious building. With huge windows over looking stunning Adelaide Hills vistas. The all white interior highlights the dark tones of the carpet, the bar and the fireplace hood. Table and chairs are also dark stained with stainless steel legs and behind the fire place is natural local quarried stone in variegated colours, all creating an elegant calming atmosphere. We enjoyed two very well made Mahalia's coffee's, while we sat next to the window enjoying the views. The breakfast menu gives you lots of choices, serving Saturday - Sunday 8-30am 10-30am. An excellent starters and Mains selection, weekly specials, all at very affordable prices. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, with good service. We shall return to the Bistro and enjoy a mains special. Have made a diary note to do this. Incidentally the three Guns, are Sharon, John (The Chef) & Megan.
