My wife and I just spent a few days at Mooloolaba, and after a visit to Underwater World, we stopped to have some lunch. On seeing one of the girls here rolling and cooking their own fresh tortillas, we made our choice. This was the BEST FOOD we had during our whole stay, very authentic Mecian, with real flavour, everything made in house - it has left us wishing there was one in Brisbane, because it would be a regular stop. Three Tacos for less than $10 - with everything else priced right too! We highly recommend El Bigoton if you want some great food that is not a throw together of mass produced or poorly prepared which is the average everywhere else in Mooloolaba!

The owners used to hail from a previous restaurant we ate at in Adelaide and have transferred the experience well to the Sunshine Coast. Very good food and excellent wine menu. Wait staff are pleasant. Good location just back from the main strip and beach.

Good food, with serving sizes suitable for those who have not eaten in a week. Would recommend the combination special (chicken) as well as the nachos.

Cappuccino was really tasty. So was the pumpkin, bacon & cheese muffin.

A little lite on meat in some dishes but pretty good overall.

Had been looking forward to Spero opening for ages, and it was well worth the wait! Really impressive decor and the vibe with music and service was great. The food was amazing, well seasoned, fresh and light but packed with tonnes of flavour. They hit a home run with Riceboi and they've got another winner here. Will be back for sure!

A great venue to spend time with family and friends. Located in the heart of Mooloolaba it offers great food, and cheap beer. The sportsmans bar has all the sports channels and the bowls venue is world class.

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT ON THE SUNSHINE COAST - For those who love Italian food this is the place to come as they serve up the best risotto I have ever had anywhere on the coast - If they can continue in this way, the restaurant will be fully booked and hard to get into as the food is so good and tasty but I have found it hard to get a good risotto as no one can get the right consistency which is not easy as for the fresh calamari it just melted in my mouth and so tasty and then the dessert blew me away it was il vento cannoli ricotta, pistachio, honey - the pastry was perfect and delicate but the filling, I must admit, is one of my favourites ever. I should also mention the staff who are so friendly and obliging and I look forward to many opportunities of visiting this restaurant and just relaxing and enjoying their food - should also mention their pizzas are outstanding and one of the best. I loved the ambience of this restaurant, as it gives you a feeling of warmth and relaxation where you can talk for ages over a lovely wine. There are four cannoli ricotta but we ate two, as they were so nice, thought i should take a photo - so delicious.

Have a had a couple of enjoyable visits here. Very good range of proper German beer and some enjoyable food to down along with it but why oh why is it closed on a Sunday afternoon?

Thursday nights seem to be the best - $4 drinks and local uni students are fun to party with. Friday/saturday nights are a little pricey. It can attract some scummy people though, not uncommon to see a few crazies or a fight break out during the night, but that is expected I guess. My main annoyance with this place is that the sound system upstairs sucks - totally lacks any bass, which really puts me off personally. You're supposed to be able to feel the music. In comparison The Factory has a way better dancefloor atmosphere.

This is such a great place. The location is perfect just by the beach but with plenty of shade (or rain cover if you need it), the food is super yummy and the service is always excellent.
I play in a band at O'Malleys called 'Tis Irish Live' every second Thursday night from 7:30 to 10:30. It's my favourite gig - great crowd of locals and visitors, great staff, great fun.
