I had a fantastic experience dining at The Raw Prawn on the esplanade in Cairns. We went for my father's birthday, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection. The place is a little pricey but you are paying for quality so who cares? The wait staff were also very well mannered and adhered to all of our needs which included bringing out my father's desert with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate and a sparkler! Amazing exeprience for dining in Cairns as you don't often come across it. Will be going again very soon.

Excellent position to eat, and food to match. We stayed in Cairns for four night and ate here twice. The hot seafood platter was delicious - thanks to the chef!! - and the service on both nights was excellent - thanks Darcie and Chelsea! Overall a great place to have dinner - thanks agin to all concerned. PS - All the best to Darcie and her partner for the forthcoming wedding!!

Always seem to have young girls working the cash. Poor things need more backup during rush hours! But we love getting our 30-cent soft serves here for dessert. Cheers to the hard-working team!

A good concept overall but the place always seems sad and empty. However the restaurants on the deck that runs all the way around are quite good.
