Very nice Vegan and Vegetarian food ( some eggs which can be removed upon request ).. very easy going staff and manager..nothing too much trouble.. I would have preferred more vegetables in the curries and stir fries but they had more soya protein ( mock chicken) in them.. Later she told me that if we had specified that they could have easily accommodated.. So overall very nice restaurant with nice ambiance in the balcony and good lake views..

This has to be the finest asian restaurant on the Gold Coast. It serves fresh Bejing style asian food. The Staff including the Manager Larry, Hostess Ms Jenny and the huge wait staff are professional and proficient. The food is first class and made from the freshest ingredient. The restaurant is expensive but fine food costs money and in a lot of things especially good restaurants you pay for what you get. Dont try turning up Friday or Saturday nights without a booking - the place is always packed and you will not get a table. All in the best asian experience you will have on the coast - it also rivals the best in Birsbane (Enjoy inn) Sydney (Imperial Peking) and Melbourne (Flower Drum). Give it a try but dont forget to book.

Chiang Mai Thai has been my favourite local Thai restaurant until i ordered the paw paw salad with crab... When i bit into the crab claw to crack it open the crab was raw. The salad was not fresh!! All the other courses ordered met the usual standard and expectation of previous dining pleasure at this establishment. However the paw paw salad with raw crab put us off the rest of our dishes, we could not continue eating.
