I was impressed with the little gem, considering darwin, I wanted to explore and whalla! This was a great place for those âcorporate lunchesâ. The reason being is that the actually product is $15.00 which includes a free drink. Free drinks include any type of soft drink or juice. Considering it was a lemon lime bitters I was quite surprised that I did not get charged. Also a notices of excellence of my OCD that a Coaster was duly applied once served-you have my thanks. Overall the services of the gentleman attending was pleasant and professional. No references to the âbogan standardâ were applied i.e what would you like mate? Cheers mate etc⊠more of âwhat would you like today sir? And what drink would you like sir?, thankyou for your order sir â I was of course directed to my seat, even so with my seat pulled out so that I could sit down. Where your placed is of course is personal preference, however the best views are acquiring a window seat in the centre or to the far left (as the pool is next door-bird watching is optional ï ). The meal was served within 5-10 minutes (which was rather quick!). In this case there are at least 4 main meal types to choose from the lunch menu, they are; Tempura Battered fish and chips, Green spicy curry, Chicken fried rice and the steak sandwich. It may not be much, however the value for money is truly applied. The meal itself was cooked fresh, and the exquisite taste of the lightly battered fish was superb. Not many times that I use that word, however on this occasion I was blasted with the zing yet crunchy taste of the salad (which didnât overload with capsicum-chopped up finely) and the crisp nature of the chips. It was from this that it was served on a large rounded dinner plate. I could not believe this when I saw how large the plate was, and notable astounded at the serving of the Fish. Rather than 2 small fish (as is the case in other restaurants) I was served 3 pieces roughly about the size of the palm of your hand. You would find the fish crisp, fresh, and texture pleasant to eat. Overall a fantastic place in terms of value for money and professional service. Go there and have a shot at ordering and see what you think.

Good food. Entrees are tasty. Not a huge amount of menu choices but the basics are covered. Had fish (mackerel) which was cooked well and a generous serving. Modern and clean premises, friendly staff.

Great pub, great atmosphere, reasonably priced food, and always great friendly service. The frontier hotel has motel rooms that are usually always cheaper than other motels. Great location as well, handy to the city, casino, mindil beach and the casino. Highly recommend staying here, and enjoying the punters bar. Especially on Saturdays with live music on the deck.

The Adina apartments are âniceâ. The location is excellent, and if you want to spend a couple of days wandering around the waterfront, wave pool, and Darwin city, this is a great choice. However, they have been fitted out on the cheap (for a hotel). The fittings are residential quality, which is fine for a home but they donât stand up to hotel use. You may find the toilet seat is loose; the fridge is not frost-free and hence iced up; the balcony door doesnât open properly; a cupboard door is loose; or the air conditioner is a bit uneven in different rooms. Iâve stayed in 4 rooms over the last few months and theyâre all some combination of the above. The staff do a job superb though. Always friendly and helpful.

It's really nice. I enjoyed eating there. The foods are all so fresh. If you like eating salad, that's probably the best place you can go in Darwin.

Really great Indonesian food. Like a good nasi campur stall in Asia there are many varieties of food. Opor ayam, hotter chicken curry, fish curry, every delicious deep fried boiled eggs in sambal sauce. A lunch time only place (open until 3 o'clock) but wonderful authentic food.
Cavenagh St and Whitfield St, Darwin City
Honestly giving this stellar location five stars because the service is excellent, quick AND I want the average ranking boosted up because of that moron who said the store manager is "racist".
74 Esplanade, Darwin City
Could this be the cutest café in Darwin with a million dollar view? Good coffee and bush tucker. Plenty of outdoor seating. Cottage home to authentic, high end indigenous art, craft and homewares.

Stayed at the Novotel on the Esplanade for a week and although the rooms werenât great the food was awesome Breakfast daily a lunch and a few dinners. Breakfast was a good balance of fresh fruit cereals juices eggs poached or scrambled hash browns beans bacon and mushrooms. The first night I had the steak which was a fillet about 220 grams rare with vegetables. The steak was deliciously good with the jus and pan fried greens my coworker had beef cheeks that was tender and the rest looked awesome. The last night we had Barra pan fried and I had oysters kilpatrick. Wasnât great at all the oysters were overpowered by the over cooked bacon and far too much worshtishire sauce, making it sticky and heavy tasting. My Coworker had the Barra and it was the tail end cut so got overcooked and incredibly dried out. But overall it was a a solid four stars because when they did it well it was seriously good food. Service can be a bit slow though. The place needs a good update but the staff were fantastic and made up for the experience. Even when my aircon went the service guy was lovely and came pronto in the morning. Would definitely stay again.
I want to say what an awesome guy Jesse at the Casuarina store is. So friendly , knows his products and teas and always takes the time to be pleasant even making up fresh new samples of teas I haven't tried. I highly recommend this store and Jesse in particular. Thank you đđ»đ
