The food is not bad here, but the prices are very high! We only ever buy takeaway and do find that the food is always ready when they say it will be. Because there is little choice in Restaurant here in Alice Springs, Gourmet Oriental seem to have the monopoly and therefore CAN charge these prices! I wish someone would open another Chinese Restaurant and give these guys some competition ;)

Small restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. Staff are courteous, and the menu selection is about average. Prices seem a little high, but admittedly the food is quite good. Overall, recommended for a quiet evening in Alice Springs.

Its the best Indian in Alice, in fact the food is far better than most other restaurants in Alice.
So great to see a new business emerging in Alice. There is heaps of room. Great beer. Pizzas are delicious and the beer is exactly as cold as it needs to be. Hands down the best has to be the 0871 post office pale ale.
