Superb coffee, great view and very friendly staff. The food has been great each time so far.
61 Mentmore Ave, Rosebery
This space has the potential to establish the foodie credentials of the area. It has only just opened and the spaces are yet to be filled. However those who are familiar with the area will know (and love) the delicious pastries and bread offered by Grain Organic Bakery who have been in place for a while. Others will have experienced the amazing food and coffee (and queues) of 5th Earl. The Chocolate Pot has been operating at the other end of the building. The newbies are the Wholefoods markets, Vive Cooking School (with the plethora of SMEG appliances) and a coffee roaster. There is limited off street parking which can help as street parking fills up quickly. Edit: Dropping a star as this place is not bike friendly. Security here is definitely not customer friendly. Don't let that stop you from coming here otherwise but don't ride your bike here. The businesses here are great just management is out of touch.
65 Lighthouse Pde Po Box 7161 2478, Ballina
I have breakfast at the Lighthouse Beach Cafe every Tuesday morning with the Ballina Business Alliance. The staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to make sure that everyone is happy. The food is great, with good sized portions and a fair amount of variety. The location is to die for! Our business meetings have been known to be interrupted by whales breaching just off shore. Great for big groups, or small intimate gatherings.
Lake Street 2548, Merimbula
Just dropped in for a coffee and cake. Service and food were excellent. Nice chatty and friendly staff coupled with lovely cake. Best I've tried locally.

This is a great place, atmospshere, location etc...I mostly enjoyed the fisk and chips here, the best I've had in my travels.
159-175 Church St Shop 2185A - Zone G, Westfield Parramatta 2150, Parramatta
I have heard a lot about this restaurant chain, about how delicious the food is....so when I heard that it opened a new store at Parramatta, I decided I must try it out. Whilst they provide table service, you have to tick off items on a little note pad to give to your server for your order. It's a little strange if you are not used to it, but the staff was helpful with explaining what you need to do despite the huge crowds they were dealing with. I tried the roti with beef rendang, it was pretty tasty and full of flavour. Not as good as some homemade ones I have tried though. Their satay chicken skewers were also pretty tasty. I love the peanut sauce that they give you. The servings were average, but it was also relatively cheap. The have a huge selection of drinks with unfamiliar names, but the staff are quite helpful explaining what they are. I ended up ordering a mocha with milo....that was probably the highlight of my meal! :) I would probably not come back regularly, but if I felt like something different and affordable, this place would be relatively high on my list of places to go.
Shop 12 537-551 George St 2000, Sydney
Far less sensational than its sibling, Mappen, but still a decent meal for a very very low price.
Main St 0, Gorokan
Nice food, excellent service and great views. Only one request - add different food options to menu sometimes.

THANKYOU!!!!! I am one of a group of 25 business owners that go to the Mac Tav weekly for lunch. The staff have been amazing and very accomodating with our requests, especially the licensee Steve and the events co Bianca Martins. If you are thinking of holding a function I highly reccomend them. Thanks and keep up the great work
Best arab food you can get anywhere in Sydney, i recommend the Malt Milkshake
