We went to Bitton this morning for breakfast. The food is nice however the service was very slow, especially the coffee. We simply ordered 2 regular late' coffees which took 25 minutes to arrive - this was after we had finished our breakfast. This is very poor service. To make things worse, we were seated outside where customers are ALLOWED TO SMOKE !! So, we wont be back for a while.

Great food. Waitress seemed a bit rushed but was adequate. Oysters, kingfish entree, cesarish salad and lamb shoulder were all great. Passion fruit souffle was my favorite part of the meal. Only real complaint was i paid $24 for the stingiest wine pour I've ever seen. Should have got the bottle.

A good gluten free option with crepes made from buckwheat. Fillings are tasty but a but on the thin side. One crepe didn't fill this tummy.

Beautiful new cafe with heaps of baked goodness, very conveniently located just behind a bus stop on Gardeners Road. Open from 8am till 8pm 7 days a week. Although it is primarily a patisserie that sells cakes, desserts and sweets, but does keep a limited amount of baked hot food as well. They also have a selection of tea and coffee.

Tasty pastries, bread and coffee in a cosy space with extremely friendly and welcoming staff.

I have been to Clairs's kitchen at le Salon many times since its opening. I have been very pleased with everything, the service and the food was always amazing. I highly recommend this place for a good night out.

Amazing food but poor poor service I had dinner there last Saturday night with my friend. I originally requested for a 6pm booking but was advised they could only seat us at 8:30pm which was odd because when we arrived there were a few empty tables. We were greeted very nicely by a french female staff who seated us but it took a while for someone to come back take our order and that was because we had to wave someone down and there were plenty of staff around. We had the 5 course degustation with matching wines. Every dish that came out was absolutely delicious! highly recommend doing the tasting menu however the Pumpkin foie Gra was the least favourite - there was a very small shaving of foie gra on the pumpkin, you could hardly taste it but everything else on the plate was very tasty. The duck was yummy and the beef was amazing! Everything was going great until the matching wines. The first 2 wines came out just before our dishes however we didn't get our wines for the rest of our courses until later. And I mean... later. We were practically done with each dish before one of the staff came over and asked if we have received our wines. We said no and then someone came over and hastily pour us 2 glasses... This happened 2 more times. We just kept getting asked if we had received our wines and then glasses were poured for us even though we had finished that course and was almost onto the next course. For dessert, we had finished our wines and still had previous glasses of red wines on our table. By then we were a bit fed up and asked for the bill. While we were waiting, a staff came over and proceeded to talk about 'the dessert wine' and was about to pour us a glass (for our last course which we had finished) but we politely said we had already asked for the bill. Working in hospitality and running a restaurant myself i feel I had to say something to the manager in charge. Nothing cruel, just a bit of feedback. The French gentleman in red pants and a white shirt clearly did not want to hear anything I had to say, he kept saying "ok" "ok" over and over again while i was speaking. Unbelievable. Not even an apology or anything. I don't know if this is just sterotypical French attitude or extremely poor service from the front of house but if you're working at a restaurant of this kind of caliber, you would expect the service to be more, a lot more. If you don't mind eating a decent meal but receive bad service and no wines with your MATCHING WINES tasting menu then, by all means, book yourself a table.

This place is absolutely amazing. Firstly the atmosphere and the fit out reminds me of an up market London Hotel brasserie...think Sanderson Hotel blended with The Notting Hill Hotel. Unfortunately there are few establishments in Sydney that pay attention to the atmosphere they create...here it's bang on for drinks, lunch or dinner wether your by yourself, a couple or a group. The food has had the same level of effort put into it...truly sublime and the wine list to match. I would highly recommend you visit as you can see I'm a fan!!!

Not sure what all these bad reviewers are going on about, this is my favorite place in Sydney. They have the best steaks in town, great Bearnaise sauce and nice fries or Mash, I have never had a bad meal hear. I know they changed hands not long ago but don't be scared, its a nice place especially in winter when they are serving their famous French onion soup right next to the open fire.

Buzzing with atmosphere and French chic. The staff are wonderfully helpful and relaxed. The food was delicious- full of flavour and didn’t disappoint. Not too much to choose from on the menu, so you know that everything they do, they do well. We will be here again! And next time we promise we’ll have dessert.

Menu is a culinary milestone. Coffee like satin sheets. Service fit for royalty. Decor, grammable. The long wait for this cafe to open has paid off and fills a sorely needed market in Green Square. Well done team. Well done.

Best coffee in The Rocks hands down. Staff are incredibly efficient and friendly.
