Nicely hidden off York St, The Rook feels slightly more exclusive than your usual CBD bar. A quick elevator ride to the roof and we found the bar packed on a Thursday night with the post-work crowd. Friendly bar staff helped us to pass 30 mins waiting for a table, where we chose wagyu burgers and ordered more beers. After a short wait we were brought a bowl of onion rings on the house, plus an apology for the delay which was a nice touch. The food followed shortly after and was delicious. Only downside is that it's incredibly noisy, so perhaps not the best place for a quiet date or catch up.

Nice little cafe who serve amazingly tasty cheap burgers and delicious milkshakes (try some of their crazy flavours, especially the miso one which goes especially well with their burgers). Their fries are pretty good too. The staff here are friendly and keen for a chat, although the kitchen sometimes seems a little disorganised.

This place was pumping for UFC200! Such a great atmosphere to watch the fights in - they've got TVs everywhere and a couple of big projector screens too - so you can watch form pretty much anywhere in the joint. Love this place!

the pub is really nice,specially on a friday for 'after work" drinks. the terrace at the roof top is really cool, very impressive view to the city skybuildings. shame they dont have a dj up there.

The most confusing seating system especially when you are without company. You choose a table and stay in a line hoping nobody at the front of you selected the same table. What happened with the get a number when you order system? By the way the beef burgers are great.

One of the best KFC around. The workers here are always super friendly despite dealing with rude as hell customers (Trust me I see them every time I come in to get my own food) on a regular basis.
Fantastic chicken and chips. Cards only which is a surprise normally its cash only. Happy with how they've put this together. A nice place to go any day of the week. Fresh hot and crisp. I will definitely be back.
