I know, it's weird to be rating a servo seemingly in nowhere. We went there to refuel and grab a quick bite. The chips was really good. And the portion was very generous in the fish and chips. Eat while hot, as it's not as good as when it's hot and crispy.

Just to clear a few things up..... After reading the reviews I was hesitant to even bother with the place, but options were limited and the kids were hungry, we gave it a cracked out of desperation. The couple who own the joint were fantastic! The wife takes orders and prepares the food and they both share the cooking detail. On first glance the wife does apear rather inhospitable, maybe 50 yrs of life has just hardened her appearance and expression, not all that appealing, but it does not reflect her attitude at all!! Just give her a chance. It is true that you may have to repeat yourself, this is due to her poor hearing, not ignorance. The couple are also foreign and although their English is great a fast talking aussie may be a little hard too keep up with. Sorry for the long review, but considering the lack of traffic through the town since the fwy went in a decade or so ago, I just though someone should right some wrongs on their review's, the town needs all the help it can get. They were more than hospitable and I recommend you give them a go.

Ordered two meals and they were so similar it was difficult to distinguish the chicken from the calamari. Food came quickly and was reasonably priced.
