It was the best type of seafood I've ever tasted. The seafood is fresh, the price is reasonable and it's a wonderful family environment. Even though the service is only good at times but I definitely recommend it

Nice and cheap place to dine. Nothing fancy though.

Cafe reminiscent of Vietnamese style. Lots of scattered seating outside just like the real thing

I like this place because it is so close to the train station for a quick beer between trains and the beer is cheap! $4.10 for a schooner is great value anywhere. They also serve jugs. And get this, at 430pm happy hour lasts for 3 hours @ $3.50 a schooner. Mostly its just a standard no frills pub. Large gambling area up front with a bar personalised for the dedicated punters. Tab area and pool table and out back in the main bar area with a smoking beer garden attached. Working class clientele drinking in the main bar and very friendly staff. This bar is attached to one of the most popular yum cha restaurants in sydney, Ironchef. So, if yum cha is your thing, The Stardust hotel is even ideal for a drink whilst you wait for a table.

This is a fantastic Hong-Kong style chinese restaurant - but a little pricey. Still, the food is good enough that we go here semi-regularly. My favourite is the congee - but all the Australian chinese dishes (eg. sweet & sour pork, combination chow mein etc) is good too - and there's plenty of genuine chinese dishes on offer too, for chinese palates. Service is typical chinese restaurant...good if you can flag down a waiter or speak chinese!

Captures the authenticity of a Japanese resturant quite well. Broth isn't as sophisticated as to what I am used to but a warm and hearty soup non the less. The chashu is to die for, deliciously tender and fatty with sweet notes to balance with the umami broth. Also tried the Curry Katsu Don, really filling and tasty, chicken is panko crumbed fried so had a nice crispy shell encasing the moist chicken meat inside. Definitely my go to place for ramen locally, especially during winter.

Its okay, wont be coming back though. Not pleased with the pork rolls offered here. The competition in Cabramatta for Pork Rolls is fierce. The serving sizes here, is crippled and a lot shorter than its fellow competitors. Mainly the small bread roll restricting the amount of fillings. Let's ignore the small size of the serving for a moment. And review the taste. The sauce is slightly sweet, muted in the saltiness side. The bread feels stale and boring. It is chewy and the famous crispy outside is not present in this bakery. (At least the bread used in the pork roll). I was keen to try this because of the astounding review it received on noodlies, but am disappointed.

Great place for a snack. Fried chicken as big as your face! 5 levels of spicy.

Childhood fav place. Great for 2 dishes: fried rice noodles with beef & don't know the English name but its the noodle soup that you pretty much see everyone having there in the morning. Not a place to go if you value service and atmosphere. Its all about the food here.

Standard Thai dishes are all available at this humble eatery. If you're not sure, the dishes have all been photographed and stuck on just about every available space. Tom yum is uber coconut creamy and a must order. If you fancy something more challenging, ask for pad prik khing pork, the meat is stir fried in a mean red curry paste with lemon grass and punchy prawn paste.

Many restaurants have tried and failed in this location. Savann has been just about the longest. The secret to Savann might be that they have built a loyal table of customers who seem to be there every night, they’re loud, they’re funny and they give this place a buzz. Food is decent and prices are reasonable. You can get most Thai standards you can even get "duck eggs" - yes those duck eggs.
Saw a line, stood in it and were not disappointed. We ordered 6 varieties of the souffle pancakes and while we did have to wait almost 30 minutes (the queue was massive), we were surprised to find how good they tasted. Not at all 'eggy', but more of a creamier texture like a custard or mousse. I guess there may be variation in the quality if the pancake were slightly undercooked however did not experience this, and will return again. 😀
