Best kept coffee secret in Canberra. Even though the black roast is a bit out of sync with my personal filter preference (I'm a light roast fan), there's no denying the quality is here from bean to cup, and I'm happy to keep coming back for batch brews or long blacks. Unlike other Canberra coffee establishments overrun with ego and snobbery, KYO has a humbleness about it that I can't get enough of. Dont care much for international barista awards and overblown personalities used to market personally branded useless espresso gear. I care about local institutions that stay grounded. Keep it up KYO.

The Hells Kitchen bragel is pretty delicious and their assortment of cakes and pastries look awesome. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Very friendly staff, nice spacious seating. We sat outside and the staff was super helpful and turned the heaters on for us! Generous servings. We got the Fricken burger, Fricken box and the buffalo wings with side of onion rings. The onion ring batter was teeth shattering! Buffalo wings was not super spicy so go crazy! The skin is still crispy from frying before getting covered if their sauce. Potato skin fries is a nice touch! Will definitely return

Delicious food and fantastic service! This hidden gem is in the Mantra on Northbourne Ave. Despite being next to a busy road it is quiet and comfortable surroundings. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was yummy! We had entree and of course cheesecake dessert. I would highly recommend!

What a lovely surprise to find in Deco hotel. Open for dinner Sunday night we had a beautiful meal. The steak was cooked to perfection! The marinated lamb tender and tasty and the pork beautifully succulent. The young staff were enthusiastic and attentive. Both entree and dessert were scrumptious! Highly recommended.
You can't expect much from Macca's and this place certainly lives up to that reputation. It's actually a horrible place to go after dark with mess everywhere, but I hear they might have cleaned up their act recently. Service is horrible when there's drunk people about. I've seen the police come a few times. It used to be the only place open late at night in Civic, but there's a new Macca's literally 100m down the road. So now you have the choice of two Macca's at 1am in the morning. Gotta love the Canberra night life...
