My favourite soup/noodle place in China town. Fresh, well priced and just yum.

I just ordered take-away combination noodle soup with extra rice noodle. I think the chef should learn to maintain food quality when it has to be packaged to have it at home. I would say the taste is always fine. I arrived home with a box of super sticky rice noodle and a very small container of soup. Once I poured it in, the soup just quickly dried out, left over with a bowl of nth but just sticky rice noodle. I just couldn't stand with the look of it (it looks like the left-over which will be taken to feed pigs), so I threw it straight away. Just for recommendation, you guys should have bigger container to put soup for customers who order extra noodles. And when you tried to pack the noodle, please put some oil in it, so they don't stick together as hard as mine. I regret the time I spent walking there in this lockdown period to purchase the food.

Nice laksa broth, very rich flavours. Roughly the same price if you were to sit in a restaurant and eat laksa, however if you are after a quick laksa fix then Happy chef is definitely worth the visit.

Favourite Chinatown eatery. I’ve been enjoying delicious Laksa at Happy Chef for 27 years and they are as fresh and delicious as ever! Michael and his team are always friendly and efficient. Excellent value too! Head up into the Sussex Centre food court for the heavenly broth :)

Honestly the best place for noodle soup in Sydney! The broth is amazing and the serving size is bloody generous (even when you order takeaway). Highly recommend.

Very generous portion and the laksa is always delicious. But very disappointed that they don’t allow to combine two types of noodles in one bowl anymore, won’t come back as often as I used to do for this reason. Small details are important
