Excellent value for money, and unbelievable vegetarian & vegan buffet. Over the past 10 years (and following the cafe from Elizabeth Street to George Street), I think I would have dined here close to 100 times. Not once has the food been anything other than super delicious. Takeaway is also available, as is single dishes - it’s not just a buffet all-you-can-eat place. The lemon, ginger and mint drink is divine and you cannot go past trying the incredible kofta balls with tomato chutney (sauce). Lots of vegan options these days too, which is fantastic.

Great healthy vegetarian food for unbelievably good value! Especially the all you can eat feast for under $13, includes unlimited drinks and dessert! And just to ice the cake the staff are super friendly and hospitable.

Great Indian Buffet for just $8.50 each. Don't get confused and think buffet means you help yourself, because you don't. The food is served onto a plate and then you take it to your table. We had the smaller of the meal options and it was plenty. The curry wasn't too spicy, but very flavoursome.

Absolutely brilliant Indian vegetarian food at cheapish prices. The service is also very charming and friendly. The Dahl was amazing. I highly recommend Govindas as the best lunchtime food option in the cbd of Brisbane. Takeaway only at present due to a certain pandemic but there are plenty of scenic outdoor places nearby to enjoy the wonderful food.
