We had a very pleasant lunch at Freddy's green restaurant. It is a brand new Italian restaurant located at two minutes from the Green square metro station. The room is really confortable, with large tables and chairs, large windows. Food was amazing. We had a perfect burratta with bread and different kind of tomatoes to start. Then, we tried the gnocchi, which is homemade and super tasty, and a pizza, well cooked. We finished with a really pleasant dessert and coffee. The prices are like expected, and a good value for money. The service was professional and friendly, food was served fastly and hot, despite the restaurant was a little bit crowdy on this weekday at lunch. I would definitely come back or recommend this restaurant. Thanks!

Service was not that bad and the food was very nice. Pasta, ham and the salad were exceptionally good but the pizza was not as good as other foods. Will come back for sure.

Came for lunch on Saturday and had some of the best food ever! The potato pizza was insane, also had the squid ink pasta which was really nice too. Everything we ordered made us very happy. Definitely coming back for more!

With my girlfriends, we took three antipasti: the Burrata was the best we ate since we are in Australia - the arancini were delicious and we could have asked for more - fried squids were really good but a bit too heavily loaded with mint. Pastas were also good. Last but not least, the tiramisu was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy (very appreciable). We had enough space and didn't feel oppressed. The manager very well advised us. We had an excellent time there, I will definitively come back!

I’ve discovered over the years that one of the first signs to be worried about a restaurant is when your waiter doesn’t write down your order, but instead attempts to memorise. This was unfortunately the case tonight at Freddie Green’s, where the Floor Manager forgot half our orders. He was kind enough though to comp us for our drinks when we paid the bill. The pizzas were interesting, such as the porchetta pizza that comes with small pieces of crispy pork belly and pickled fennel on a white base. Overall, the restaurant is ok, but I’m not in a rush to return.

Driving into which seems to be a parking area for the restaurant I was greeted after I had parked, exited and locked my vehicle by a woman concierge from the hotel whom informed me that parking was strictly for hotel guests and or that I could pay $35 to leave my vehicle where I had parked it. I explained that I was dining at the restaurant but was quickly interrupted by the woman concierge saying the restaurant was NOT part of the hotel establishment and that I could not park here. After removing my vehicle and parking in an adjacent street 200 meters away, my party entered now late to the restaurant to dine. Wait staff were very nice, however the food which came out was a different story. Spaghetti, tomato sauce, basil & Parmesan GF noodles came out gluggy and pathetically stuck together and the sauce was bland. Rigatoni, braised wagyu beef, spicy tomato sauce was a very small serving, it was “garnished” or rather heavily dusted with Cayanne Pepper which was hotter than the spicy tomato sauce, soo hot in fact it made the dish inedible. I quickly returned this dish. The Piccante Pizza was deprived of its salami, and the cubed potato on the Rosemary Potato Pizza are three times cooked, leaving it very oily. On top the Potato Rosemary Pizza was a drizzle of disappointing meaningless “Truffle Emulsion.” During the course of the meal, the concierge woman whom I had spoken to in the carpark whom told me the restaurant was not part of the hotel, entered the restaurant walking past the pay counter and bar, entering a few tables deep into the room pausing, glaring directly at me. This woman made it a point that the restaurant was NOT part of the Hotel, however she entered the dining room as though she was an authoritative figure which was confusing and angered me right in the middle of my meal. There is a sign on the main back wall (facing the street) of the restaurant in plain sight, glass sign/black writing showing the gym upstairs restaurant, hallway reception and carpark. Could this be the restaurant carpark? Confusing maybe...? The open kitchen and rowdy loud kitchen staff together with the double height ceiling make dining very noisy. Management staff were occupied with their smartphones rather than being observant to customers, gaining staff attention was difficult. I would only eat at this establishment if I where staying at this Hotel, however the smart traveler hopefully reads this review and visits or orders from a local more passionate kitchen that doesn’t use its tinned pizza sauce as a base for its pasta sauce.
