Service was very good. I was disappointed at the food. The beef brisket $32 was so tough and dry (roast potato and vegetables were okay). I like the loaded chips but the pulled pork burger was not good. Pork was dry. Love the hot cider during this cold weather. Hot chocolate was okay (too sweet,). The highlight of the dinner was the sticky date pudding$15, really nice!! Overall it was not bad experience but would not come back again as Sydney definitely has better and cheaper food. The restaurant is crowded but I don't understand why it is so popular as the food is not that good. However, this is my personal opinion.

Tucked underneath the footpath in Katoomba it was a pleasant surprise. I had heard of it from friends about its popularity and it was well earned. The decor is kitchen and definitely from yesteryear. The food was fantastic...mainly burgers and American style food, but well cooked and delicious. Our group was very happy with all of the meals. Service was excellent and well above what I have come to expect from restaurants. Bookings are pretty much essential and we ate dinner at 5:15 in the evening and that sitting was full. Highly Recommended.

Wow what a gem in Katoomba! My partner and I stopped in for dessert as part of our honeymoon and can honestly say it was so lovely. The guy singing up the front had a beautiful voice and really fit the venue. Didn't even know they did food so after our honeymoon we will make another adventure in indulging at Aunty Ed's again!

Decent place for a bite to eat. The menu has diner style food and drink like burgers, milkshakes etc. There are a few alcoholic drinks on offer too, with some decent craft beers in tinnies or on tap. The decor is very 'Aunty's House' from the 70/80s, it definitely fits the name. Very friendly staff. Really quick service, in fact the service was as fast as I've had anywhere in a long time. They don't rush you though.

Nice decoration, limited but good beer selection, average food. My wife and I visited it with our 2 year old on the weekend. We were told $20 minimum spending for our 2 year old son. What? Minimum spending in 2021? Everything is $12on the kids menu as they should be. How do they expect people to spend the additional $8? Order them a beer? Of course we end up spending a lot more above minimum spending anyway as what most people would do without being told. Nice place for a drink but do avoid if you are after decent food or bringing kids
